Not the same room we were hoping for but the staff did their best to get us a comfortable room. All staff from front desk, restaurant and housekeeping were exceptionally helpful.

We had some problem with the Wi-Fi in the morning after our first night. The Wi-Fi network was restarting the whole time. I couldn't use my laptop for internet. Also, our bathroom was small. Not a big issue, although. The bathroom was well-equipped with the most basic needs.

The friendliness of the staff drawn my attention immediately when we exit the taxi. The receptionist behind the check-in bar went outside and came to us to welcome us and collect our bags. We were helped with the checking procedure while our luggage were handled automatically by the staff. During our dinner time in hotel restaurant, the staff in the restaurant saw us struggling with mosquitos and the hard blowing ceiling fan, We try first to lower the speed of the ceiling fan, but we failed. One the staff notice our struggle with the fan and come immediately and ask us if we wish to turn off the fan. Also, minutes later, another staff brought a lavender candle to fend off the mosquitos. Nice! We stay in a modern room. Everything looks very clean. The bed was big and comfortable. The food in hotel restaurant was very good and presentation nicely (breakfast and dinner). We love the staff that have lots of experience how to take care the visitors. Very nice!

The dinner served from the alacarte menu was rather charred and dry

Loved the pillows and the bed. The small balcony outside my room was just enough to enjoy quiet moments. The hotel was in a quiet location which was perfect for both work and relaxation. Breakfast was amazing. The receptionist, Sharon was awesome and extremely helpful. Went ut of her way to make our stay memorable!

Hot water was not working in the shower but it was room temperature. I informed the hotel staff and they attempted to fix it or move me to another room.

It’s a good location. There is security at the gate. There is a nice restaurant and the wait staff were welcoming and attentive to my needs. The hotel room was clean, compact and quiet. I could sit on the balcony overlooking the pool. I was just around the corner from the milieu which had a nice sofa overlooking the outside garden and pool. I slept well in this room. It was very quiet. Just what I needed!!!

There was no internet the whole time during my stay

Rooms are a little small but not problematic.

Superb decor and layout of rooms and all facilities. A very boutique feel with beautiful landscaping and plush furniture. Very helpful staff and food is superb. I would rate this hotel experience highly.

While our stay was memorable and positive, there are just a couple of areas for improvement. First, I handed a few clothes to one of the house cleaners for laundry, but unfortunately, they were returned uncleaned on the morning of checkout. The explanation provided was a bit vague, and I’m sure this is something the management can easily address to ensure smoother service in the future. Second, although we booked our stay with breakfast included, we found the lack of variety in breakfast options slightly limiting. The chef's choice was a full English breakfast, which, while popular, may not suit everyone’s taste. When we requested a simpler alternative (Spanish omelette, boiled eggs, baked beans, and toast), we were politely turned down by the duty manager. Offering more breakfast options or a small buffet would greatly enhance the experience for guests with diverse preferences. That said, these were minor inconveniences in an otherwise wonderful stay. We would absolutely return to La Fattoria Resort the next time we visit Mombasa and highly recommend it to others.

My two brothers and I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Fattoria Resort for two nights, and I must say, it was an overall delightful experience! The rooms were newly refurbished to an excellent standard—modern, fresh, and exceptionally clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, allowing us to get a great night’s rest, and the entire hotel had a serene and quiet atmosphere that made our stay even more enjoyable. Special thanks go out to Mary, who checked us in with warmth and professionalism, and Esther, who ensured our checkout process was seamless and pleasant. Both of these ladies at reception were a joy to interact with, and their commitment to great service didn’t go unnoticed. On behalf of my brothers, I’d like to extend our gratitude to them for making us feel so welcome.

The main meals fell short for me o portion size and flavour vi's a vi's the price. There's too much on the menus should keep things nice simple tasty because something like paneer samosa is on menu but not available. That thing of things on menu but in reality not available.

The ambience is top tier as per the pics provided so beautiful nice decor a lovely spot to hang out for a drink. Loved the breakfast. There's a pool. Close to malls, you can walk on a cool day if up for it but about 400/= by tuktuk. TV is smart TV so that was nice.

On arrival I was assigned the wrong room category "by mistake". The deluxe room's AC unit is underpowered for the big size of the room - it helps but doesn't quite cope. Glass door of the excellent shower doesn't close completely, not correctly fitted. Shower floor can be quite slippery.

Huge room with pleasant interior, hug bathroom with high quality fittings and large shower offering all one can ask for. Large balcony. The location is quiet, nice restaurant with beautiful garden space and not too loud and laid back ambient music. Good choice of quality meals.

Honestly the rooms were a bit mediocre, compared to the rest, but the beds were comfortable, which is really all that matters. We didn't spend much time there anyway. The pool is also off limits past 6pm which is dumb, there is no life guard at any time of day anyway.

I loved the restaurant area, very romantic setting and the food is amazing. Very friendly staff. The pool was great too.
