Convenient location in the heart of Westlands, with green space and outdoor pool and spa. The rooms are comfortable and come with all the needed amenities. The staff were friendly and accomodating, and the room rate was good.

While this clearly was a top hotel at some point, the hotel hasn’t gone through a refurb and certain small items in the bathroom like soap dispensers, shower, weren’t modernised and weren’t functioning with ease. The hotel location is perfect, but the outdated furnishings (and somewhat service) doesn’t justify the high hotel rates.

I have stayed many times before but I get a sense standards have dropped cleanliness in some places. TV didn’t work in my room and some of the food was poor

No airco, only a ceiling fan. Sound insulation - I could follow a neighbour's late night phone call verbatim and had to request the reception to intervene, which they did.

Good location in Westlands, with Sarit Centre shopping mall across the road. The area can get heavy traffic in rush hour, but with the new express way the airport is now within easy reach. Comfortable room, great buffet breakfast. One of the few hotels that has kept some green space - inner courtyard with swimming pool.

This is my favourite hotel in Nairobi. I always stay here as the location is great. The staff are amazing. The whole hotel is a bit dated, but the good things about the hotel clearly make up for the few short comings.

The only issue is the noise coming from nearby clubs - but only in the weekends. The rest was perfect.

Heritage hotel in Westlands from the 60s, lovely architecture, awesome gym/swimming pool. The mall across the street comes in very handy. Fabulous breakfast and restaurant/bar. Spacious garden. Will come back there.

There are only stairs to get into any part of the hotel and no lifts or ramps. Staying on the second floor requires three sets of stairs while carrying luggage, and the restaurant is also down a set of stairs. This hotel is not disability friendly at all.

The location of the hotel is perfect - many great restaurants, the mall and offices very close by. The breakfast spread was good, the rooms conveniently-sized and clean.

Unfortunately the hotel didn't have aircons in the room and only had ceiling fans. As you sleep with your windows open to allow for fresh air, the morning staff were very noisy so if you are a light sleeper you might have a problem

The property was in close proximity to the Exhibition Center and we could walk through the mall to gain access. Although the hotel is slightly old, its clean and the staff were very friendly. Having a gym and pool was a great benefit.

The hotel itself is very quiet but there is a noisy nightclub somewhere nearby. It went on really long on Saturday evening / night. No party on Sunday, so all was quiet again.

The Jacaranda Hotel is centrally located (just off the express way) with a couple of shopping malls nearby. The hotel and grounds are very well maintained. It has a nice swimming pool. There is a restaurant on-site with excellent service. Front desk service is excellent and very helpful. They quickly arranged a taxi so I could visit the national museum.

It would be great if the gate to Sarit opens until 9pm or so, so that I can easirly come back after dinner there.

This place is my place always that I always use during my business trip to Nairobi. Great access to Sarit Mall. Good breakfast, decent Wi-Fi, nice room.

This is my preferred hotel in Nairobi. I have stayed there many times. It’s not like flashiest hotels by a long way, But the staff are superb. I was unwell during my stay and they simply looked after me. That’s worth more than all the stars a hotel may possess.
