They could pay a bit of attention to detail, the soap and shampoo bottles were broken and needed replacement.

It was a pleasant surprise, way better than the pictures! The food was very good! Had multiple locations around the facility to hang out, the bar had a great view and served food which was great. The room was nice and big! The staff was very attentive and friendly.

There is no iron box provided in the room, it is available at an additional cost. The spa and gym were underwhelming in terms of appearance. Swahili Beach Resort offers a better spa experience at a lower price. It’s very annoying to be repeatedly asked by staff and security whether I am a guest, especially when entering the hotel premises from the beach. If guest identification is necessary, it would be better to provide visible tags for guests.

The hotel offers good access to the beach and the sea-view rooms are lovely. Additionally, the food in the restaurant is fresh and there’s a calm resident dog along with some friendly cats.

If you're wanting the full "Diani beach experience" this is probably a bit too far south. We also had huge problems with the wifi, which wouldn't be a problem for most but we had decided to work remotely a couple of days and this was quite difficult. The security out front will get you to use someone known to the hotel's tuk tuk - and charge you double. You're better off declining this and flagging someone down yourself which is very easy to do.

The staff - super helpful, and always able to answer questions. The loungers were plentiful and it was right on top of the beach. There's a sand bar depending on your luck with the tide that is only 20 minutes away and is beautiful and well worth a visit!

The lack of internet in the rooms and outside. You really need to be in the bar or the restaurant to get decent internet. This is fine for a day, but we stayed 4 days and it was super annoying. You can’t plan anything. Also, bathroom/WC could be more spacious and newer, but this is not a big issue. The internet is!

Really like the seaview bungalows. They have a very comfortable veranda and are close to the beach, the bar and the restaurant. Everything is super close and it is a small and cozy facility with great suntan beds and access to the beach.

Food was average most of the time, meat was precooked and just reheated, thereby overcooked. The buffet on NYE was excellent.

The mattress was a little bit too hard for our liking.

We loved the hotel area, including the restaurant, spa, gym and bar. The room was very comfortably sized and breakfast options were great. The sunbeds offered wa beautiful view onto the stunning Diani beach, but equally the pool was very comfortable too. The resort offers a perfect holiday atmosphere!

1. When we checked into our room, we noticed the toilet appeared to not have been cleaned. We requested it to be cleaned and they obliged. However, the lingering urine smell remained. 2. The breakfast was average at best. 3. The speed of the kitchen was quite slow at times, even for a latte.

The only negative thing I can say is that swimming in the ocean is limited at certain times because of the strong tide. I wish they had a bigger, nicer swimming pool (The one they had was quite small, not very appealing, and in the back side of the facility).

Perfect location. Amazing beach. Beautiful garden with coconut trees and a great ocean view. Nice restaurant. Clean, comfortable, and spacious rooms. The staff is professional, helpful, and friendly. I don't know what else I could asked for.

I was a bit disappointed not getting the room I booked, we changed the room the next day so I was able to enjoy for just one night instead of two.

A great place, the view of the ocean and the Beach is amazing, I could stare at it for hours. The staff is warm, friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. It's busy yet quiet. I'd like to thank the staff again for their recommandation of activities, we were not at all disapointed (tuk tuk contact, visit of the Kongo river at Sunset, Omar for the boat Wasini tour...) it all went perfectly well !
