Hello Sanjay ✨ I do hope you’re keeping well! 😁 Thank you for taking the time to leave a review 😌 I’m delighted to learn that you enjoyed the spaciousness of the apartment and the quality of the facilities, including the rooftop gym! 🤗 Regarding the clothing items left behind, allow me to clarify a few key details; - My apartment manager contacted you less than two hours after your checkout to inform you that several clothing items had been found in the apartment. - You responded & gave us clear permission to dispose of them, adding that they were dirty. Based on that instruction, we acted accordingly. - As a short-term rental, we can’t store personal items inside the apartment after a guest has checked out - both for hygiene reasons and out of respect/comfort for incoming/future guests who expect a neutral and fully cleared space. - Handing over belongings to third parties such as building security poses legal and liability risks, especially in the event of loss or damage not to mention, without any clear chain of custody. Therefore, if any of your clothing items were to go missing or get damaged, the responsibility would fall on us, not the security personnel. - To avoid these situations, in my check-out message (usually sent a day before a checkout) I always include a reminder to double-check the apartment before departure as well as mention that we’re more than happy to help recover forgotten items when possible, provided we're given clear instructions to do so. You described the clothing items as “having sentimental value”. While I sympathise with that, one would reasonably expect such items not to be forgotten and certainly not authorised for disposal. I'm genuinely sorry this impacted your overall impression of your stay with me… With that said, my team and I acted promptly, transparently, and in line with the information provided. Nevertheless, I do hope to have the opportunity to host you again under more positive circumstances 😇 Take care, Aly

Hello Jürgen ✨ In regard to having seen cockroaches in the apartment, allow me to inform you that the building is fumigated once a month. Additionally, if I’m not wrong, I believe that what you may have spotted was a cricket - as I’m sure you’re aware, Kenya is currently experiencing heavier rainfall than usual which, unfortunately goes hand in hand with the presence of crickets. Funny enough, it is said that when farmers hear the chirping of crickets, they know to expect heavy rains for several hours afterwards! Other than the above, I’m glad to learn that you appreciated the security in the building, the convenience of the property as well as its accessibility 🤗 Additionally, I’m delighted that you got the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking view of Nairobi’s City Skyline from the apartment 😊 I look forward to welcoming you back! 😁 Take care, Aly

Hello Rebecca ✨ I do hope you’ve been keeping well! 😃 You made your reservation with me in November 2023 as such, I’m finding it difficult to understand how my team & myself were not aware of your arrival. Additionally, if memory serves me well I believe my apartment manager tried to get ahold of you the day before your check-in but to no avail. Furthermore, you arrived at the property 4 hours before my check-in time & when we spoke via the receptionists phone you realised you had not received any of my messages via the booking.com app because you could not log into your account. Hello Anne ✨ I do hope you’ve been keeping well! 😃 In regard to the lack of sufficient access cards given to you, I do apologise for the inconvenience you must’ve encountered… However, you’ll be glad to learn that we now have an adequate number of access cards for each guest occupying the apartment 😇 Other than the above, I’m glad to learn that you felt right at home as you enjoyed the skyline view of Nairobi from the 15th floor 🤗 as well as found that the kitchen was well-equipped, the bathroom was spacious and the bed was cozy 😊 I look forward to welcoming you back! 😁 Take care, Aly

Hello Njoroge ✨ I do hope you’re well! 😃 Firstly, it was an honour to host you not once but twice at the apartment! ☺️ Indeed, during your 2nd stay you came to find stricter rules enforced by the properties management. Do know that the tightening of regulations is for the safety of the community and as such, there is now a working system regarding having family and/or friends over. In regard to “some appliances not working”, I had an electrician come by the apartment less than 24 hours after you reported the issue to my apartment manager. I can confirm that the fan is now working 😇 & that you’d set the iron box to an extremely low temperature thus, not being able iron your clothing. Other than the above, I’m glad to learn that you found the property well-situated 😊, enjoyed the comfiness of the bed 😌 as well as got the opportunity to marvel at Nairobi’s Skyline! 🤗 I do hope you enjoyed your stay & I look forward to welcoming you back - as the saying goes, “3rd times a charm”! 💫 Take care, Aly
