How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great location in Westlands, a comfortable bed, and a delicious breakfast. We couldn’t have asked for more for our one-night stay. We checked in during the evening after a three-day safari and asked if we could have our laundry done by 7 a.m. The laundry was washed and ready by 11 p.m., what exceptional service!

The location is very good, close to shopping centre. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and always ready to help.

getting back to the hotel though can be a challenge in the evening hours with the post-office rush - that is probably the only drawback of the hotel
breakfast and food options were great - considering I am a vegetarian. the location is also nice, just next door to a major shopping mall.

I was charged a fee of KES 900 simply for ordering my breakfast in the room. Tray charges are a maximum of 200 - 300 KES and USD 8 was a little too high especially since i ordered for my breakfast during the breakfast timings. FYI - i was on B/B,

Nothing really.
The staff is extremely hospitable, would like to call out Gilbert. The room is clean and large, bathroom is clean with all amenities, could be a little larger - the window was open throughout though it didnt bother us - bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is very good, coffee is exceptional, service is super! Will stay here again

The car drive way and entrance gate which was difficult to drive through. I guess poor road and side way design. Need to be looked at .

Spent my first night in Nairobi here before heading out on safari, and it was an excellent choice. Clean, comfortable, and staff was super friendly & helpful. Appreciated the airport transfer with my late evening arrival flight. Good value for money - would happily stay here again in Nairobi.

Every thing was good.
Breakfast was good, rooms were very comfortable, gym was equipped and clean, location was very good as it was close to a mall ( walking distance). staff from the security, reception, F&B staff every one were very friendly, helpful and always had smile. Had roof top restaurant which served good Asian food also the restaurant next to reception, had good menu.

The hotel was just what we needed after a lot of travelling. It was clean and modern. The shower was lovely and powerful. The facilities were good. We ate at the restaurant one evening but the food took quite a long time to come out, but we were a group of 11 people. Apart from that it was a great stay. Breakfast was plentiful and when we had an early start in the morning they provided us with breakfast to take out which was great. There is a great Indian restaurant within walking distance and the hotel is located next to the shopping mall. Would definitely recommend.

The location is good because behind a shopping center. I want to mention Mr. Alex by name, because he helped me a lot in a delicate matter. The staff gave me a large piece of cake for my birthday. Besides my icecream was free. With so much kindness and attention the hotel keeps its guests.
