Rooms are large, nice toiletries, great AC, huge bed, very clean. Breakfast is lovely. Pool and garden are great. Staff were wonderful.

The coziest corner of paradise. It was extremely peaceful and resetting, the quiet and the staff’s kindness contributed to a very quick but very relaxing and recharging stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to recharge and relax.

The room was clean & spacious. The place is quiet and gives a homely feel. They have very kind & friendly staff. Grace does a good job. The breakfast was delicious and served on time. When you need transport they can call a driver for you. They have a list of contacts if you want to order dinner. Definitely going to stay there again.

The toilet didn't have a door but if you're okay with that, then you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

The room, the hospitality and the staff there were amazing! We had a good time, waking up to a good breakfast and just having a much more relaxed time in the villa. Food can be ordered in easily and all the information was available right in the room so you don't have to worry.

the one thing that bothered me in our room was the mix of daylight and warm white bulbs. Why not keep them all the same? Warm white create a much more pleasant environment

Nothing really. It is a bit too far from the city center to walk there because of the heat, but transportation is cheap and you can either contact someone over the hotel staff or just wave down a tuktuk on the main road. So it's not really a problem.

Beautiful rooms, nice and helpful staff, delicious swahili breakfast and a wonderful pool to relax. This was the best accommodation we had in kenya. If you need a tuktuk driver, they will connect you with Abdalla, who will show you around for a good price and tell you a lot about malindi and the surrounding areas. He took us to the Gedi ruins for a half day trip, which was a great experience.

It would have been wonderful to have had some shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom. That is my only critique of a fantastic stay.

Absolutely perfect stay at Bamboo House. The place is tranquil, beautiful and spacious, with truly stunning rooms. I was in Room 4, at the top of the turret, with a view over the pool. Breakfast was always delicious, with lots of tasty options to choose from. And the place was immaculate - there was always someone cleaning, tidying, gardening...and just generally making everything look lovely. Location was also great. It was a 10 minute walk to the beach, and a short tuktuk ride into the main part of town, or to any of the local beach bars/restaurants/cafes. Looking forward to returning!!
