How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The host Salem is very welcoming and gave me all the travel and camp related information I needed, way before my arrival. He was also very helpful in making travel arrangements from Wadi Rum to my next destination. All the meals I had at the camp were great. We are vegetarians. I checked with the host beforehand if there were any vegetarian options available and he did arrange what we needed. I had a great time at the camp and would highly recommend it.

Salem was super attentive with everything we needed, helped us arrange transportation from Aqaba and after we were done in wadi rum to wadi musa. The tents look new and are clean, the cave is an amazing option for couples in my opinion very private.

The staff was super friendly and helpful and they made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were very clean, and the breakfast was super delicious. In the evening they had some indoor cozy nights with fire, tea, and Arabic Oud Music

Bader leads you in an individual way through Wadi Rum. The 4-6 hours tour brings you to all major sites of the famous area. Reliable and on time meeting.

We spent 1 night in the deluxe room and we had an amazing experience. Our adventurous guide bader brought us to the best spot and openly share with us his bedouin culture which was a great highlight.

We spent with my friend one night at bader camp. The reception was really friendly, the food is really nice and the jeep tour was amazing. They will accommodate you really well and do the best to meet your expectations. The traditional tent is really comfy. I highly recommend this place.

We were picked up at noon in Wadi Rum village exactly on time :) and drove to the camp to leave our luggage and start our 1/2 Wadi Rum discovery with our guide bader . He was patient and provided nice explanation and drove us to the desert highlight. Lovely sunset and back to the camp for the dinner. Stayed in a luxury tent with an awesome view and a nice quick warm shower to get rid of the dust. Nice dinner (good choice for veggies) and star watching on the terrace before a peaceful sleep (window wide open but not cold given the good bed linen). Awesome

So amazing!!!Beautiful. Bader was so nice. Our tent was lovely. Breakfast fantastic. And the sunrise, breathtaking. We had a couple hour early morning tour. The tour was great. Couldn’t have asked for anything more from our guide..

Comfortable convenient lodging with modern amenities . Excellent food with sumptuous local dishes. Charming helpful staff. The “deluxe tent” with en suite bathroom is definitely worth the extra cost.

We recommand without any hesitation Bader camp. Bader and his family have been the best guides ever, they let us enjoying the Wadi rum desert on the most enjoyable way. You can see the sunset from a very beautiful spot, with the bedouin's nice hospitality ! Shukran ktir !!!

Me and my friend really enjoyed a day trip through the desert with a lot of nice places we visit. Warm welcome at the camp with really nice traditional food. It was a perfect stay and I can recommend highly really good price for what you get.
