Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

JapanStaff: The staffs were incredibly kind and welcomed me in many ways. They drove me to and from the visitor center. Although I was traveling alone, they always made sure I could enjoy my stay to the fullest, with a good sense of humor. Facilities: The room, toilet, and shower were all clean. Despite being in the middle of the desert, the facilities were well maintained, and I had no inconvenience during my two-night stay. Meals: They always provided delicious meals. Tour: I joined an 8-hour tour, and it was wonderful to see so many different places. It might be challenging for those who have difficulty with long tours physically, but overall, I highly recommend participating. One of the staff members said, “I love the natural lifestyle of the Bedouin people and want others to experience it,” and those words really stayed with me. There are many camping options in Wadi Rum, but if you're looking to experience a more authentic and natural lifestyle, I highly recommend this one.

AustriaThere is no socket (to charge mobile) in the tent. Or at least we have not seen it
Very friendly staff. They have traditional tents (and not the modern balloons) which made the experience more authentic. We spent one day with Hani, one of the brothers working in the camp, and we had a very good time.

FinlandSuperb tour! Spent 9 hrs on it and saw so many different places in the desert. Really friendly hosts who make you welcome in their camp. Dinner and breakfast were both great. Tea flows. Good WiFi. Beds were comfy and room had all the size needed. Clean bathrooms. Great location with open desert and mountains in every direction you look.

This place is absolutely amazing 💯 Staff is so welcoming, suporting and friendly.. Hospitality is unmatched. There was a great bunch of people staying, and we had a nice campfire after dinner, good chat, riddles, and some great fun talking with each other, which was great. Definetley recomended for solo travellers as there was quite few of us. I enjoyed this place so much that i wish i stayed much longer. The tour was brilliant as we visited all the important and most beautiful places around. I could not praise this place enough. You have to visit for yourself ❤️❤️❤️

This place is perfect. Location. Amenities. Cleanliness. But what sets it apart is the amazing family running the place. They are wonderful people who are always available to help you with your experience and to give advice and information for the rest of your trip. This is definitely an 11/10 kind of place. I recommend it to you. It is a must stop in Wadi Rum.

NetherlandsThe experience was 10/10. It is a minimalistic authentic camp in the middle of the dessert. Everything is taken care of, enough water, clean toilet, nice sitting area, but still ‘simple’ enough to have the real experience. The brothers take care of you with a lot of humor, patience and attention. Dinner was delicious. Recommend to stay minimum 2 nights to really experience dessert life. We already miss it!

SwedenThe camp is absolutely beautiful! There are gorgeous views of the Wadi Rum desert and perfect spots to watch the sunset and the stars. The camp is traditional, but also very comfortable with clean and modern facilities. This is a family business and the brothers that run the camp are so welcoming and friendly and really seem to love sharing their home and traditions with their guests. We took a full day desert tour with them and it was a beautiful experience. The Wadi Rum desert really deserves a full day. We had time to hike up to beautiful viewpoints before the sun got too hot, relax in the shade while our host prepared a delicious lunch and finally watch the sunset while drinking tea by a campfire before returning to the camp. The whole trip was truly unforgettable.

Czech RepublicWe were group/ big family with 4 teenagers, which is even more demanding😊. Awhad picked us in the village without any problem, transfer to the camp was first great experience. The camp was second one, very clean, comfortable beds, very clean toilets and shower available 24/7 (one of the best of whole our stay in Jordan), great food as well. Second day they took us for whole day jeep safari, including camel ride, beautiful sightseeing, lunch and romantic sunset at the end. Totally life standing experience and memories for all! Thank you very much Raed and Awhad. All the best to your family

A 5-star adventure at a camp in the heart of Jordan's desert. Our journey began with a jeep ride guided by Hani. He was really friendly and he saw us many of the hidden germs of the desert. The whole trip was well planned and organised to see the sun set which really enjoyed. Upon arrival at the camp, we were impressed by the cleanliness of the facilities and the hospitality from the friendly staff. Despite being in the middle of the desert, every aspect of the camp was well maintained, from the comfortable tents to the modern amenities. They also provided us with clean towels and bed sheets (which were smelling amazing). During our stay we spend our night under the sky with fire and tea. However, the highlight of the experience was the dinner. They had a big variety of traditional plates and same for the breakfast. Overall, our stay at this desert camp was an amazing experience and highly recommended. With Hani as our star guide, clean facilities, and delicious food, it was an unforgettable experience. Also there wasn't any hidden fee during our stay to the camp.

Highly recommend Bedouin host camp! It’s a family business run by Bedouin brothers, amazing hosts, very friendly, teach you a lot about their traditions. The camp is located in the heart of the desert, the tent is just as shown in pictures, very comfortable, shared bathrooms with hot water, shower and always perfectly clean. Really nice traditional food. I recommend taking the whole day jeep tour around the desert, they take you to the most iconic places in wadi rum. Amazing experience!
