How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewI was traveling solo, and Rashed went above and beyond to make me feel at ease. During the jeep tour, we had great chats and he even introduced me to his family — a rare and unforgettable opportunity to experience authentic Bedouin life. The tent was very comfortable, toilet and showers very clean.

Verified reviewWow, the best experience of my life ❤️ . The desert took my breath away, but it was the Bedouins who created the true atmosphere 🧡. AMAZING people, very caring, helpful – simply unbelievable... I already miss them and want to go back 🥹 ! Accommodation: Everything was super clean, even more than in a “more luxurious” resort in another part of Jordan. Showers and toilets were very clean 😊 . Food: Excellent! Very delicious. And when we were on a full-day jeep tour, we ate directly in the desert. Water is bottled everywhere. My recommendations: full-day jeep tour 🛻 (the guys will show you beautiful places in Wadi Rum 🏜 ), camel ride 🐫 , stargazing ✨️ etc... We stayed there one extra night, because it was amazing 🥰 . Thank you guys 🙏

Verified reviewIt's a small camp with a family atmosphere, with individual tents and large tents where meals are served. The room is very large and the bathroom is very clean. I imagine there are other camps in Wadi Rum that offer the same services and amenities, but perhaps the unique element is that it's run by a family from the area who have lived there for generations and love their place. Dinner and breakfast are buffet-style, with a wide variety of food. For dinner, they offer a special dish every day, including the famous barbecue in the sand. The activities are truly amazing, as are the dinner and entertainment before bed (discussions over tea and campfires), and the breakfast is incredible. The staff were wonderful. The best part of our trip was the full-day jeep tour. It was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Jordan. The tour guide was very kind and cooked us a delicious lunch in the middle of the desert. We loved everything about our stay. I highly recommend staying at Wadi Rum Magic Nature Camp
There is nothing I can mention here, it was perfect!

Verified reviewAn unforgettable stay in the Protected Area of desert with real Bedouins in mind and heart; electricity, hot water and even wifi available; tasty local breakfasts and dinners with demonstration of its preparation; camel riding (the animals are treated with respect and love), a full-day jeep tour with lunch in the desert in places that only locals know about, evening discussion by the fire with bedouin tea and all for a reasonable price. We will definitely be happy to come back.

Verified reviewThe Bedouin camp offered not just adventure, but a soulful immersion into timeless hospitality, culinary delights, and the raw beauty of nature. Afternoon Arrival & Jeep Tour Our adventure began in the afternoon, greeted by warm smiles from our Bedouin hosts, clad in traditional thobesand and keffiyehs. After a refreshing glass of sage-infused tea, we embarked on a thrilling 4x4 tour. The open-back Jeep navigated rust-hued dunes and granite mountains, revealing Wadi Rum’s iconic landmarks. First stop: Lawrence Spring, named after T.E. Lawrence. A modest oasis tucked into rocky cliffs, it offered a glimpse into how life persists in the desert. Next, Khazali Canyon enchanted me with ancient Nabatean petroglyphs carved into narrow fissures, whispering stories of millennia past. The red sand dunes were a highlight rolling waves of apricot-colored sand that we gleefully slid down, laughter echoing off the cliffs. Nearby, the whimsical Mushroom Rock stood defiantly, a testament to nature’s artistry. The tour culminated at Burdah Rock Bridge, a colossal natural arch towering 80 meters above the desert. Our guide, Ahmed, shared tales of Bedouin climbers who scale it, leaving us awestruck by their daring. As the sun dipped, painting the sky in amber and vivid colors. Evening, the arrival at the camp: Back at the camp a cluster of cozy tents and a communal majlis adorned with carpets—we were welcomed with steaming cups of sweet, cardamom-spiced tea. Dinner was a revelation: Zarb, a Bedouin barbecue slow-cooked in an underground sand oven. Tender lamb, fragrant rice, and caramelized vegetables emerged, infused with smoky perfection. Shared platters fostered camaraderie, while stories flowed under a canopy of emerging stars. How was the night: As darkness enveloped the desert, the sky transformed into a glittering tapestry. The Milky Way arched overhead, constellations vivid enough to touch. Ahmed pointed out Sirius and Orion, recounting Bedouin navigation lore.

Verified reviewWe stayed at the camp for one night. It was totally worth it!!! The desert is beautiful, the people are really kind, the food is delicious, and the adventures are outrageous. We did a camel and jeep tour, and both were one of the best things we've ever done. We 100% recommend staying with Rashid to get a real insight into how the Bedouins live and how people in Jordan

Verified reviewAmazing location in the middle of the wadi rum desert which is a must visit in Jordan. The hosts are amazing from start to finish they looked after us and arranged taxis to pick us up from Petra and drop us of at Aqaba. We booked two tours with them a hiking tour and a full day jeep tour for a very good price. The food was lovely and cultural and was fantastic sitting around the fire at night time watching the stars. The rooms were lovely and clean. Sleeping in a tent in a desert is something. I will never forget! I would 100% recommend and I hope to stay again. Thank you Alex and Leo

Verified reviewAbsolutely everything was perfect, we booked the first night there in order to go to the Hot air balloon the day after + jeep tour. These two activities where awesome but the camp, the atmosphere and the way rachid, fadi and everyone behave with you it's outstanding. You can't forget some moments in your life and this one is gonna stay for ever in our mind. So we cancelled our second night in a bubble to stay with them. If I could, I would come back and spend a month there hanging around wadi rum with them. About the room, you wake up in the morning, open the window and.... you only see the huge desert with not any noise, what a relaxing time. Thanks again and again. For sure we will come back once
Nothing !

Verified reviewDesert Activities Par Excellence Wadi Rum is breathtakingly beautiful, and to enjoy it to the fullest, it's important to cover some ground. This is where a good choice of activities and a quality tour guide will make or break your experience. With Wadi Rum Magic Nature Camp, you're in safe hands in this regard. From the unforgettable camel trek on our first day to the full-day jeep tour on the second, we were wonderfully looked after. Our guide for the jeep tour, Abdullah, jokingly introduced himself as the "King of the Desert," and by the end of the day, I couldn't have argued with the title. Attention to detail—that's what makes a tour guide stand out from the crowd. Little things—get up to the sand hill before the sand gets too hot, go to the arch before the rest of the crowds, where you have lunch, watch the sunset... King Abdullah has it covered! He gave us the history of the desert and Bedouin life, and was always ready with a smile and Bedouin humor. Lunch was wonderful. The picnic spot was beautiful, and Abdullah's cooking over the campfire was top notch. The day ended around a bonfire with tea and a desert sunset. Perfect.

Verified reviewI couldn't have chosen a better place to stay in Wadi Rum! Rasheed and his brothers are beyond great. From the beginning, they were extremely helpful and welcoming. I got to join one of the tours around the desert, and it has been one of the best experiences in my life so far. Our tour guide was very helpful, he explained and showed us a lot of places in the desert. Another great thing about the tour was the lunch. Our driver took us to a beautiful spot next to some cliffs where the views were unbelievable. I got to meet other travelers from all over the world during dinner. The tent for dinner and breakfast is huge and clean. They prepare the food underground, the Bedouin way, and it is extremely tasty, and they give you a lot of options to choose from. There is also another tent where you can chill and have a chat with other travelers while watching the sunset. But one of my favourite parts was after dinner, they made a fire under the stars and shared many stories about the Bedouin life and the desert. Also, some very funny jokes and intriguing riddles which had a lot of us thinking for some time. The tent and the bed were super cozy, the perfect temperature for a night in the desert. The showers and toilets are clean, spacious, with great illumination, and with hot water. If you're planning to come to Wadi Rum, this is the place. They will welcome you and make you feel like home from the first minute.
Everything is great!

Verified reviewThe camp is the best, it has the perfect location in the Wadi Rum Desert and the facilities are very comfortable and well equiped. Rasheed, Awad and their brothers are great hosts, they offer very good breakfast and dinner made in the traditional bedouin way and their desert tours are the best: you see all the landmarks at your own pace with the guide, who also cooks a nice lunch during the tour and prepares tea with cookies in a nice spot to see the sunset in the desert. This place was the best part of my trip to Jordan

Verified reviewThe owner was very friendly and accommodating. The food was also very good. When you're there he gives you options for activities. For the given price the camp is absolutely fine and it's a bit outside the village so the cruise till there is already exciting and the surrounding beautiful.
Some things needed maintenance like our door or the bathroom door. The bed was a bit sandy but somehow you cannot avoid that sleeping in the desert. In the evenings there's absolutely nothing so make sure you bring a game or book with you.
