Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndonesiaWe had a fantastic stay at Twilight Hotel — Moumen’s place really felt more like a home than a hotel. The rooms were big, super clean, and had everything we needed for a comfy stay. You can tell a lot of thought went into setting it up. The location is great too — up on a hill with amazing views of the city lights at night. It’s just a short drive from the Petra Visitor Center. We had our own rental car, so getting around was easy. What really made the stay special was Moumen himself — such a friendly and inspiring guy with a real love for his country. He made us feel so welcome. We had some great chats with him every evening after a long day of exploring Petra. It also happened to be just us staying there, so it felt even more peaceful and personal. Breakfast was simple, fresh, and local — a nice way to start the day before hitting the Petra trails. If I ever come back to Petra, I’m definitely staying here again. Highly recommend this place — cozy vibes, great views, and a top-notch host!

FranceAn incredible stay at the Twilight Hotel Petra. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable for four people. The breakfast was very good — perfect to start the day! Most importantly, Mo2men, the owner, was remarkably kind and attentive. He took the time to tell us the full history of Petra! An amazing and enriching encounter in every way. I highly recommend this hotel — it was the best experience of our entire trip! You won’t be disappointed.

SlovakiaThe room was very speceous. The ownew was kind and responsive. We booked also dinner for the first night which was cooked by the owners mother and it was delicious, we can recommend that. The view from the place is amazing. It is on the hill, so the roads there are quite steep, but it was doable also with a small car.

ItalyGreat stay at Twilight Hotel. The host is super friendly and well-informed on anything related to Petra, being him a tour guide. Breakfast is abundant and flexible. You also have the option to have dinner at the place for 10-12 JOD/pp, which is a fair price for Wadi Musa. The dinner is prepared within the hotel and it is made of traditional Jordanian food. The bed is super confortable (honestly, one of the best beds ever tried during a trip), the room has functioning and good A/C and a well-equipped bathroom. There is a small courtyard where you can leave your car, even though parking outside is not a problem. The hotel is located roughly 6 minutes by car from the Petra site main entrance.

United KingdomReally friendly host. We had an excellent home cooked dinner on the night we arrived (10JOD/ person and both meat and vegetarian options were delicious). Breakfast also very good. Great views from the restaurant. Good with your own car as out of the centre up a very steep hill.

United StatesThe bathroom is basic but has all amenities. The hotel didnt have proper signs to locate it. We reached at night and passed the hotel a couple of times. The locals had to point out the property.
We decided to immerse ourselves in the Jordanian experience and opted to try this property as opposed to the chains located next to the visitor center. While the property was a little challenging to get to due to lack of signs there is a lot of character to this property. The views are amazing as you are at a much higher elevation that the visitor center. The breakfast is amazing. You get the full Jordanian experience, and the food was super delicious. The property manager Momen was extremely helpful and accommodating. He is also an excellent tour guide. The rooms are very generously sized.

United StatesThe guesthouse is up on a steep hill with nice views and a 6 min drive to Petra Visitors Center. The rooms are basic but comfortable, the typical simple Arabic breakfast was ok (olives, cheese, cucumber, tomato, pita and eggs and instant coffee). No fruit or cereals, milk or muffins so bring your own. They are so willing to prepare it early so you can get to the gate first thing. We did not have hot water for showers 2 out of 3 days but apparently it’s being fixed. The owner (also a guide) gave us great tips and hiking advice for the best views of the Treasury. Overall convenient and affordable.

BelgiumThe bathroom was a bit cold, but as we were here during winter months I image it’s not an issue during summer :)
The owner was very happy to tell us about Petra and help us plan our trip. We had dinner from Zainab twice, and really liked it. Breakfast was also good (and with a nice view of the valley!). Price quality wise we really recommend this place.

ItalyOur stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable! The room was amazing, with a breathtaking view and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was freshly made, authentic and very delicious. The highlight, however, was the incredible hospitality of the host. Mo went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time exploring Petra. He gave us excellent recommendations and even prepared a perfect two-day itinerary, which allowed us to make the most out of our visit. His insider tips helped us discover some hidden gems and trails that we would have missed otherwise. And Mo’s deep knowledge of Petra’s history was incredible, he could explain the history of every sight in detail, which was super interesting. One evening, we had dinner at the hotel which was prepared by the hosts mother, and it was hands down the best meal we had in Jordan. The chicken with rice and vegetables was cooked in the traditional way under the sand, and it was absolutely delicious. If you stay here, this meal is a must-try! Mo also gave us valuable advice for the rest of our itinerary in Jordan. We can’t recommend this place enough and are already looking forward to coming back! Oh and the cat Lucy was so adorable!

United KingdomJust a warning that if you are driving in Wadi Musa in general, the roads are very steep! It would also have been good to have a sign for the hotel outside as we couldn’t find it at first, but it is listed on Google Maps. Also not all the windows in the room had curtains to block out the light - this is fine on the day you want to wake up early and go to Petra, but I would have appreciated some curtains in the day after so we could have a lie in. There was no seating on the balcony but we asked to borrow some plastic chairs from the dining room and the staff were fine with that.
The room was really big, modern and clean - I got the impression it was built recently as everything was really new. I booked this hotel for the views and it did not disappoint - really glad I booked the room with the balcony as it was the perfect place to sit and watch the sunset after a long day in Petra. Parking on site is great. It was pretty quick to drive down to Petra (8 mins) or Wadi Musa (5 mins). Or you can walk downhill into Wadi Musa (20 mins) and get a taxi back up (3JD). The area was generally quite residential and quiet, which I really liked, but close enough to get to the main areas easily.

Irelandthere is a very adorable cat outside the terrace named lucy. she is so adorable that one must practice a lot of restraint to not let her in during meal times.
this is a very pleasant and comfortable hotel to stay in while visiting Petra. firstly the location of the hotel is ideal for those wishing to explore the ancient city of Petra, situated 5 minutes by car from the visitors centre. the surrounding area of the hotel felt safe and peaceful, and the views were some of the the most beautiful and serene i have seen while visiting Jordan. the complimentary breakfast offered at the hotel is a traditional style jordanian breakfast. the lady serving breakfast was very friendly and was flexible in breakfast timings. she also made the best omelette i had whilst in jordan. the homemade dinner which was freshly prepared by the manager's mother was very delicious and traditional. a vegetarian option was also prepared for my friend (she said it was the nicest food she had while in Jordan). portions were very generous and definitely worth more than the price. the room was spacious, clean and nicely designed. the AC was strong and it was convenient that there was a fridge and plug sockets by the beds. the beds and pillows were very comfortable and there was no noise heard at night. room cleaning was kindly offered by the lady working there even after spending just one night. lastly the hotel manager was very welcoming and approachable. his english was possibly the best i have encountered while in jordan and he went above and beyond to make our stay a comfortable one. as he was previously a tour guide in petra he kindly offered valuable tips about the trails to take and shared historical information that i otherwise would not have known. all advice offered was very accurate and i would implore future visitors to definitely consider it. very glad i booked this hotel and i wish the owner every success in his future and business.

United KingdomBeds are very firm but after walking in Petra we would sleep anywhere.
You will need a car for this hotel as it is situated above the town which gives it an amazing view. Evening dinner was plentiful and delicious. Very modern property and the owner is very helpful to ensure you get the most out of your stay. It is shame that we were the only people in the hotel as tourists are very low in Jordan due to the neighbouring issues.

BelgiumThe only inconvenience with the hotel is its distance from the Petra Visitor's centre, but Mr Momen was very helpful also with taking us there on his car, when he had the time for that. (on the other hand, it's also an OK walk for a relatively fit person🙂).
We had really great conversations with the owner, Mr Momen. He is a very friendly and helpful person, we felt really lucky to have been staying at his place. Since he's also a guide for Petra, he could give us very good tips on what to do and in which sequence to visit the sights. Our room was really comfortable and very clean. The restaurant area was very cozy and the food delicious - made by Mr Momen's Mom🙂.

SerbiaThe room tended to be a bit cold despite the inverter AC. It took some time to warm up adequately. Additionally, while the breakfast was satisfactory, a bit more variety could enhance the overall dining experience. Overall, a pleasant stay with minor considerations.
Our time at this hotel was superb. Mo's/the host's helpfulness and friendly demeanor, along with insightful tips about Petra, added a personal touch to our stay. The host's mother's cooking was a delightful bonus, and the balcony offered a stunning view. The spotless, spacious room and a quick five-minute drive to Petra Visitors Centre made it an ideal choice.
