Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Saudi ArabiaWas keen on knowing more/ watching the mud extraction or the salt extraction process, but staff was more keen on applying mud on my body/face but not on the extraction process
The beach access was great, just a short quick walk away

Portugallack of options of restaurants near by, just a shooping mall. And also by friday the pool was impossible to be because of many costumers and childreen. Too much noise at the pool on friday, with people drinking and smoking.
the facilities of resort with the pool endless view to Dead Sea was great. The appartment with all the facilities to cook and prepare meals and was very big, with a balcony also with a view. Also well located with a private path to Dead Sea.

ItalyThe signage and directions within the resort are unclear, making it difficult to find one's way around.
We had a great time at the Dead Sea! The apartment was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We really enjoyed relaxing on the private beach—such a peaceful spot, with friendly staff. In the evening, we had a nice dinner at a nearby mall. A perfect mix of comfort and relaxation!

PortugalThe lifeguards at the beach were a bit too touchy-feely when it came to female guests. Insistence on the all over mud massage was unexpected and not wholly welcome

HungaryThe view is only partially looking at the sea, rather at the nearby empty plot.
A nice and clean apartment in an amazing resort. In addition to the pools, the resort's Dead Sea beach is also beautiful and free to use. It offers a more affordable alternative to the pricier resorts nearby. The kitchen is suitable for preparing simple meals.

United StatesOur stay at the Samarah Resort was one of the absolute highlights of our time in Jordan. The apartment, nestled within a resort-style setting, offered all the comforts of home with the luxury of a high-end resort. It was immaculately clean, with stylish furniture, a super comfortable bed, and two spotless bathrooms with excellent water pressure. The air conditioning in both rooms kept us cool, and the convenience of a washing machine made our stay even more comfortable. The view from the apartment was breathtaking, overlooking the Dead Sea. We had private access to the Dead Sea, where the famous mineral-rich mud was readily available—either provided by the resort staff or easily accessible from the shoreline. It was an amazing experience! The resort’s pools were another highlight, large and warm with a stunning view of the sea. We enjoyed snacks and drinks served poolside, and the well-equipped gym was a nice bonus. The dedicated free parking spot was convenient, and the host's representative was incredibly responsive, offering great recommendations for local dining. A short walk away, we found a mall that offered a variety of restaurants, a market (cash only), and several stores for shopping. The convenience of having everything so close by was invaluable. The value of this flat, considering its location and amenities, simply can’t be beaten. If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay in Jordan, look no further. We can't wait to return and stay even longer next time!

United StatesWe found it difficult to navigate the TV because it was in Arabic. It's a bit more of a walk to the mall than it first appears, so we used the car.
Clearly a luxury option, at a reasonable cost. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped. We enjoyed getting the golf cart down to the dead sea (there is a lifeguard there to help you). At the Samarah Mall there is a an excellent choice of restaurants (the super market is rather lack-luster, which means that the apartment cooking facilities were wasted). Excellent wifi, a/c, bathrooms. The check-in was efficient for an apartment (make sure you have whatsapp) Very secure location.
