How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewClean, tidy and comfortable. Staff were nice and welcoming. The food was good.
Located next to a loud camp with music playing until midnight. Missed segment where food is cooked in front of you under the ground. Lights could have been more dimmed for clear visibility of sky.

Verified reviewHonestly this place was such a gem to find and I was so happy that we picked it! The staff was very friendly. Finding the location was easy and our guide “Mohamed” was very friendly. He also took us to a great location to watch the sunset. They cooked a delicious dinner for us (Zarb) even though we weren’t a large group. We really appreciated the food and hospitality. The tea was also delicious! They have a lot of options for activities and we had so much fun going to different locations. Mohamed also gave us a great explanation of each stop and we also went sand sliding!! The rooms are in perfect condition and very hotel like. They were clean with all the necessary amenities, fresh towels, fresh sheets, and extra comfy attire. The beds were comfy and the ac worked great! The view of the sunrise was absolutely perfect and we had the most comfortable sleep. Thank you so much!
Nothing, it was perfect.

Verified reviewThe camp is a small one. Cozy and intimate. The food is ready for you in advance before or after your incursions, wrapped up. Delicisous and a bit of everything! The camps are all near each other but facing the desert so you don't see each other. This was definitely a great value for the stay. the hosts were adorable and we had tea by the fire with the others guests at night. They give you a meeting point and then take you to the camp. I our case, we arranged a direct 4x4 tour in the desert right from the meeting point before the arrival so as to get as much in as possible. We hesitated with the pricier rooms and luxury type bubbles. But if you are trying to enjoy the experience and are going from Petra to another destination afterwards, you won't get much more out of the experience from paying hundreds extra. This is the kind of info we would have liked beforehand so hope it helps!

Verified reviewVery clean facilities. AC in every room.
This property is not located in Wadi Rum but in Wadi Al Desi, they should have specified this in the booking.
dear freind we are happy to see what you wrote about the camp that it's clean camp and everything is well arranged for the location, you have to know the difference between the Rum Village and the wadi rum area wadi rum is all the area between Alkharazah rock arch until the sudia border , and all of these villages like Rum , alshakrea, aldesa, and other villages are located in wadi rum anyway you don't do any activities like a jeep tour so you can visit the movies land or protected area so you get idea about the area thanks alot

Verified reviewMy stay at this hotel was truly outstanding. The food was absolutely amazing, some of the best food in Jordan— every meal was flavourful and fresh. The staff were fantastic and helpful. The bubble tent had everything we needed and more. One of the highlights of the trip was the jeep tour organized through the hotel. It was perfectly coordinated, ran smoothly, and allowed us to enjoy the scenery without any hassle. From start to finish, everything was well-managed and stress-free. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-catered stay!

Verified reviewThe camp is amazing, set in the most stunning spot. Hospitality and kindness of the host and people of Jordan really made a difference. Communication with the host was very easy, via What’s up. Accommodation was very comfortable, and food was traditional, in abundance, home cooked and delicious. Every recommendation!

Verified reviewWe had a truly amazing stay at Harmony Luxury Camp! The host Abdallah is fantastic, incredibly kind and welcoming. The bubble was beautifully equipped, clean, and everything worked perfectly, from the AC to the Wi-Fi. Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. The location itself is stunning – surrounded by breathtaking desert landscapes. We also did a Jeep tour with Salah, who is an excellent guide. He showed us many fascinating spots, including filming locations of movies like Star Wars – such a cool experience! The prices are absolutely fair, and you can feel that they truly care about their guests instead of just making money. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish – thank you so much! A heartfelt recommendation – we’d come back anytime!!! 😊

Verified reviewThis was the best stay we had in Jordan. We spent two nights at the camp, and everything was wonderful. The facilities are great. The food was delicious, and we were always served much more than we could finish. One evening, we had zarb, which was an experience itself when watching the chef lift it from the ground. We got up middle of the night for star gazing. The galaxy is right there. It was amazing. Mohammed and Abdullah were amazing hosts—friendly, attentive, and helpful in every way. One night, we joined Mohammed and a few other guests for tea around the fire. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn even just a little about Bedouin culture and their way of life. It was sad to see they don’t have many guests coming due to the war. I’d highly recommend the camp to anyone comes to Wadi Rum
We did an 8-hour safari because we really loved the landscape. The jeep was probably the most comfortable one compared to those from other camps. However, 8 hours was a bit much—riding in the back of a safari jeep across the desert for that long did get quite tiring. The guide doesn’t speak English which is a little challenging for communication. Remember you are without signal in the desert so can’t even use apps to help with the translation.

Verified reviewThe bubble tents are - very modern and spacious, and great for watching the sunrise in the morning. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and kindly arranged a sunset jeep tour for us with a fantastic guide. The food was also great - we enjoyed traditional roast chicken and vegetables for dinner, and then a nice breakfast in the morning. There was plenty of food so we didn’t go hungry at all. We would definitely stay again and recommend this camp to others.

Verified reviewNew nice bubble tent and comms from the camp has was great. WhatsApp communication was easy. Dinner was also nice
I would say the activities could have been improved. The star gazing could have had more expertise in speaking about specific stars and consolations we were looking at with light pollution kept to a minimum. Also the jeep tour had good sights however I think the host could have given us more facts and history of things that we were seeing at each stop.

Verified reviewThe bubbles were very spacious and offered a wonderful view into the desert. Staff was friendly and helpful and made sure I was having a comfortable stay. They also helped do a 4×4 ride into the desert and organized a stargazing activity and a ride on a hot air balloon early in the morning. The buffet had various options and food was really delicious. Strongly recommended stay!

Verified reviewWhat an amazing camp! The staff looked after us from start to finish and it was an experience of a lifetime. We did a 3 hour jeep safari with the sunset, followed by a beautifully cooked dinner. They then took us out at night for stargazing and a campfire. We then did the sunrise camel ride the next morning. All of these trips were amazing and the staff were all so lovely. I would definitely recommend doing everything whilst you are here, amazing value for money too. The bubble tents were very comfortable with gorgeous views of the desert and stars. Overall the perfect stay!
