Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI stayed here with my family of 6, and it was wonderful! The rooms were excellent, the common areas are great as well, and the view is outstanding (see the attached photo of the view from the hotel). But the best part of our stay was the host, Sam. He will literally give you the shirt off his back to make your stay wonderful. He was so kind and communicative and went way above and beyond to make sure my family was comfortable and taken care of. He really treats you like family, and we greatly appreciated it.

Our host was fantastic, super friendly and very helpful for everything, he helped us to fix the problem we had with our car, buy spices, he even offer us fresh aromatic herbs from his garden to bring back home. We enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by his mother and homemade cakes, which were the best we experienced during our stay in Jordania ( we even left with a box full of cakes for our trip back home). The view from the terrasse is great, right in front of the archeological site! Many thanks to our host and lovely family. We highly recommend to stay here.

United StatesBest placed I stayed during my entire trip. My room was spacious, beautiful, very clean, and a great value. Located in a quiet area and easily walkable to the Roman ruins. I had a great time and the host was very helpful and attentive to our needs, but the best part was probably the homemade dinners they offered. I stayed in other places on my trip and was disappointed with the dinners others offered, but the meals at Jerash City View were amazing.

United KingdomI cannot recommend this place enough! It’s a true gem. The building and rooms are super modern. WiFi is great. Aircon is strong and beds are very comfy! The view to the ruins is also very pretty and the area is quiet and chill. Shared kitchen is also good and functional 👌 The best part is the host who welcomes you like family and will do anything to help and to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. For the price what you get here is unbeatable 👌 Honestly if you visit the city then you have to stay here you won’t regret it! Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

A Truly Unforgettable Stay in Jerash This place offers a direct view of the magnificent archaeological site of Jerash, and the sunset over the ruins was absolutely breathtaking. The atmosphere was peaceful and full of warmth — it truly felt like being at home among family. I enjoyed a traditional home-cooked Jordanian dinner. Every dish was prepared with care and served with genuine hospitality, as if I were a treasured guest in a Jordanian home. Breakfast was equally memorable — olive oil and zaatar, labneh, eggs, and more... a true taste of Jordan in every bite. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Jerash. It's perfect for those who appreciate nature, history, and authentic hospitality.

PolandI didn't like too strong light on the terrace, but owner said that I could change it. I also didn't like a plastic table cloth, but at the same time this is sth very Jordanian and my stay was feeling really like being in Jordan. You need a car to get there. Breakfast was big, it could be smaller but with better products.
Great view for the ruins of Jerash. Very good dinner, real Jordanian home cuisine, excellent. The house is new!

United KingdomNice, comfortable, clean, large space accommodation. Decent WiFi, big areas for cooking and seating. The bedroom and bathroom were well furnished and had everything we needed. The hosts Hossam and Rakan were very helpful and hospitable. They offered us delicious home-cooked meal (for 12 JOD per person), and we spent an amazing evening with them, drinking tea made on fire on a roof overlooking Jerash and talking. Overall, the house matched the description well and was great for the price.
