How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The bathroom requires some maintenance to improve its condition and functionality.
I really liked the comfortable bed, the efficient AC, the spacious room, the convenience of having a refrigerator, the decent Wi-Fi, the secure parking, and the excellent location.

I stayed at Meneur Hotel in Amman from July 25 to August 1—what a great experience! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and valet parking was convenient. A special thanks to Amer and Suhaib, whose warm and friendly service made our stay memorable. Highly recommended.

Room was a bit small, and the bathroom was old and needed maintaince.
The staff were very nice and helpful and helped us with getting taxis and getting phone plans and other non stay related incidents. The room was close to midtown and had a supermarket across the street .

Cleanliness is somehow good. Carpet is not clean. Hot water is not hot, it is warm only. The bed sheets looks old.

The sounds of the traffic could get annoying at night, but I suppose that is a problem everywhere in Amman.
The staff were very nice and welcoming. The rooms were always clean and we were able to request room cleaning service everyday. The location was very good and convenient. Overall the value was very good.

On the day I checked out, the concierge, Amir took my phone and made a review without my consent -- that was not very nice.
The hotel staff were all very polite and helpful. I requested a late check-out and there was no problem.

I rented a superior room, but unfortunately the bed was made up of two single mattress.
The staff were helpful and responded to my requests directly. The hotel is so clean.

Review of the hotel Meneur This is a review of the Hotel Meneur. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful from the start. They assisted us with everything and provided valet parking. There is a large parking area for cars, which is free with valet service. We booked a family suite with two bedrooms, a living room, and a bathroom. The living room was very convenient and comfortable. The rooms were good as well. The bathroom needed more accessories because if you take a shower, for example, there isn't a place to put your things like shower gel and shampoo. However, considering the suite's price, it was okay. Overall, for a family with two kids, it was very convenient, and we had a pleasant stay there.

Not much. Maybe it was a little noisy if your room is on the street. I told the team and they were happy to help and gave a new room with two beds the very next day without any additional fees. They are just fantastic. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
The team is incredible. They were very friendly and flexible. They atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommended. Will return once i came back to Jordan.
