How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewOne of the best location in Wadi Rum. You can drive through the camp by your car. View just near the rocks is awsome.. Mohammed helps for the activities, I highly recommend 4 hrs sunrise jeep safari. If you stay more than 1 night, you can also enjoy a day in Akabe beaches. It is about 1hr 15 min drive to Akabe.

Verified reviewI travelled here with my friend and we absolutely loved it. The staff really went out of their way to make every moment so special. Mohammed and Sami took care of us so well and we really enjoyed the star gazing at night. A particular highlight was the dinner in the evening (cooked in the traditional way) which was one of our favourite meals in Jordan! Would definitely recommend this tranquil place :)

Verified reviewWe stay in Orbit come in the bubble tent one night. The bubble was spacious and clean. At first we had small issues with air conditioning, but this was fixed ASAP. We had refrigerator in the tent that was very convent for the water and snakes. Muhamed or host was very friendly and we got dinner as his gift for free. He suggested also jeep tour that was the highlight of the day. We enjoyed the ride. And our dinner was just great. Our driver was just great. Hashim was his name (if we remember correctly), and he took as well several stunning photo of all of us. We also recommended zip line for the kids. We end the day with star glazing tour. Next day Muhamed organize Camel ride for the kids. We are so grateful for the hospitality and the adventure we had this day. In Orbit camp there is everything you need to enjoy Wadi Rum.

Verified reviewThe Orbit camp is a great place to stay in order to experience Wadi Rum. The location is superb and not too far away from the main road. The hosts and staff are very helpful and the evening meal is very authentic and filling. We did the 3 hour jeep tour including sunset, which I recommend to see all the sights and to feel you've had the whole desert experience, so make sure to book in advance. We are 2 adults and a 7 year old, so by all means, bring your children for the experience of a lifetime (there is wifi for gadgets too). 😀

Verified reviewOrbit Camp in Wadi Rum offers an unforgettable experience, seamlessly blending comfort, adventure, and authentic Bedouin hospitality. The services are top-notch, with clean and cozy accommodations that perfectly complement the stunning desert surroundings. The meals are absolutely delicious—generous portions of traditional dishes cooked fresh and full of flavor. What truly sets this place apart are the extra activities like jeep tours and stargazing, which are both thrilling and magical. A special thanks to our host, Mohammed, whose warmth, knowledge, and attention to detail made our stay truly exceptional—he goes above and beyond to ensure every guest feels at home.

Verified reviewSuperb stay. Everyone at the camp made us feel welcome and looked after us. We had no car, so Mohamad ensured we were picked up and dropped off whenever necessary. All tours booked through the camp were reasonably priced, and well organised. Jeep tour is a must! The evening dinners were a major highlight. Lots of food, and a great way to meet new people. If you are thinking of staying in a fun bubble tent within Wadi Rum I would highly recommend Orbit camp.

Verified reviewOur experience at Orbit Camp was made truly unforgettable by Muhammad. From arranging our transport from Petra to personally greeting us upon arrival, his kindness and attentiveness were exceptional. He even surprised us with a room decorated with balloons and generously extended our jeep tour. Furthermore, due to our very early departure, he personally drove us out of the camp to meet our taxi, ensuring we made it to the airport on time. Muhammad's dedication to his guests is unparalleled, and he single-handedly elevated our stay to an extraordinary level. Highly recommend!

Verified reviewThe hosts Sami and Muhammed were very cordial. Sami was tracking our drive from Petra and guiding us. Once we got to the camp, Muhammed showed us to tent. The tent was very clean and they made sure we had good wifi with a dedicated router. Muhammed also arranged for our jeep tours next day and since we were checking out that day, was kind enough to give us a late check out so we could freshen up after the tour and head out. All in all, it was a very wonderful stay and the hosts went out of their way to make it comfortable.

Verified reviewIt was easy to find and navigate through Google Map. We went there on new year eve. We were worried some activities could be unavailable or charged more. But Mohammed, the host, still offered everything - 4 hour 4wd tour, and big dinner. The bubble tent was nice and clean. And we saw the new year sunrise over a small hill behind the camping site. It was AMAZING
