How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

It has been a very good experience. I stayed for four nights. If you are a top end guest you may not like the location but for business solo travellers like me it is the perfect choice. It is close to anywhere in the city. It is located at the very heart of the city. People are very nice , helpful and polite. Room was big and super clean. Bed was very comfortable. There is nothing to complain. Totally recommended.

This was my second time here for 2 nights and it was great. The rooms were clean , beds were comfortable and bathrooms were small but workable. They upgraded us to connected two rooms. Location is the best thing about this hotel. If you really want to stay walking distance to all the downtown markets, Hussaini Masjid was in the next block. Rainbow street 15 minutes and Amphitheater 5 minutes walk. The staff were really helpful and courteous. They provide valet parking free of charge.

Had a lovely stay, highly recommend this hotel. The entire hotel is beautifully decorated, everything is clean, great location and most importantly, the staff are amazing and so friendly!

It is not very well isolated and you can hear all the outside noise. We had a room facing the main street and it is a very busy streets so if you are a light sleeper this might not be the beat choice.
Location is excellent, everything was clean.

This was a lovely stay. Very centrally located. Clean and friendly and comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious and in a beautiful rooftop room overlooking the city. We stayed at the Four Seasons for 2 nights and here for 1. Of course the Four Seasons was wonderful but for the price this place was amazing! Highly recommend.

The road next to the hotel is very busy until after midnight and it can be noisy. Being within walking distance to main attractions has a price :)
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to main areas of interest. Breakfast was great, we enjoyed our stay.

The discretion of the hotel is extremely important for a same-sex couple to travel safely in a conservative country, At the Khan Khediwe Hotel we always felt safe and respected.

Very good hotel, the personnel is most excellent, helpful, respectful and very nice. They gave us very good recommendations and made sure we had a great stay. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and well located, in the beating heart of Amman with restaurants, shops and points of interest all around.

Breakfast spread has room for improvement.
Far better than expected. Rooms were spacious and clean. Location is in the middle of "Old Town", close to numerous markets and a few touristy sights. Staff were friendly and insightful about the surrounding area. Will definitely return.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is great, few minutes from most sights and food market is right around the corner. I also liked the gym, small but everything is brand new in it.

We had a great stay at Khan Khediwe Hotel! The location is excellent, close to everything you might want to explore. A big thank you to Ahmed and Naseer at the front desk, who were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. They shared fantastic recommendations for places to visit and local spots to eat, which really enhanced our experience. The transportation arranged by the hotel was also top-notch. Mohammed, our driver, was professional, punctual, and made getting around smooth and stress-free. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay here again!
