JordanI called for upgrade and on the phone they told me it's done and no need to worry about it. But when I got there they refused my request and they asked me for triple the price for that and they didn't even want to give us dinner. That was so unfair and made me wanted to leave the facility. Don't trust anyone from their customer service because they don't keep their words or promises. If I know that the upgrade is not gonna be honored, I wouldn't have gone there because it is in the middle of no where and without dinner you will be left starving or you pay arm and leg to eat there.

United KingdomBoth the thermal and cold pool areas need care and attention: the sunbeds are old, broken and rusty. The cold pool areas is outdated and needs renovating. The changing rooms at the pool were dirty and very run down with broken taps. Bedroom also needs care and attention as the blinds were broken, toilet seat broken and the balcony was not clean as it was covered in bird poo. It was quite confusing to navigate to the different pool areas and hot springs as there were very few signs. The hot springs were quite run down and had litter scattered around them so we didn’t use them. There was inconsistency with the hotel serving hours. We were told by reception that drinks were served at the thermal pool until 7pm but when we tried to get a drink at 6.20pm we were told they were not serving anymore. Annoying! While some staff were good, some seemed indifferent and at breakfast, when we arrived with 20mins to go until the advertised ending time, we were made to feel rushed and they started packing away while we were there. It’s a shame because with some investment and training you can see this could be a really beautiful hotel.

It is not recommended to book rooms facing the sunset, as the sun shines on the rooms until sunset, which leads to the room being hot and the air conditioning not working properly. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Czech RepublicYou could see they don’t invest into keeping whole hotel in good shape in long term. Basic services were running to keep 5* standart. For example some roads were closed, garbage in garden, room was cleaned in rush, one slippers per room and still dirty,… It is written that after 9pm the main thermal waterfalls are only for hotel guests but you could see plenty of locals there even around midnight overcrowding the area.
Big plus is one private thermal pool

JordanThe rooms are not clean, the bathrooms too, the shower room will be filled with water and is not draining, the accessories in the bathroom are rusted, we don’t find towels in the bathroom, though we called several times to bring towels, they brought us after 4 hours, which is inadmissible.
The location is wonderful and the spa too, but to have a massage in spa is too expensive, that’s why you don’t have customers.

BelgiumWe were a bit surprised about some bad ratings on booking, and for most of the things mentioned in these ratings there are easy solutions. The cleaning staff forgot our towels in the bathroom, but we could use our towels that we received from the reception when we went to the public springs. Just ask them when something is not available in the room and they will help you immediately. We did not need the wifi, but it would be handy if the password was written down somewhere in the room. The bathroom was super spaceous and nice, but like in each bathroom we had some discoloration between the tiles of the shower. This is normal and not dirty. You are staying in a place of natural hot water pools and located within a beautiful scenery of trees and plants. So it is normal that sometimes a fly or a leave will fall in the pool. Same with some moss from the waterfall. The staff are doing everything to get those things out as quick and frequent as possible. So big thumbs up for them and remember: it is normal/nature… Only one remark for the guests: be informed that booking.com shows 3 pools on the pictures, while this 1 pool is only accessible if you book additional spa options. The description of the hotel makes it clear that only 2 pools are freely accessible during your stay.
Ma’in hotsprings resorts is a beautiful place to enjoy full peacefulness and the tranquille atmosphere. The hotel style is really beautiful and everyone from the staff is extremely polite and kind. We enjoyed the heated and cold pool. And the food was amazing. It is great to have access to the public spring area in the late night and early morning. Really would recommend this. For us an ideal gateway during Easter weekend! Thank you!

However, the hotel seems completely worn down and is in need of some serious renovation. The facilities are old and not well maintained and the rooms require updating. Also faced a few cleanliness issues with lots of dust all over the place. For the price and considering the prime location, one would expect better care.

EgyptThe place is not as clean as expected from a 5 star hotel. The hotel only serves ONE bottle of water per room on arrival and any extra water throughout the stay has an extra charge. This is not acceptable given the remote location of the hotel. I recommend bringing a carton of water with you even when it's "not allowed" to bring any food or drinks to the hotel, which is nonsense.
