Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe shared living room is spacious but airless and windowless and very hot in the summer. The room was comfortable and spacious but very austere and I didn't add much time outside as possible. It would be great to have a chair and little table there.
the location is excellent and the attached restaurant is lovely. the bed was very comfortable. it's great to have a little terrace nearby too. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Dali House to others.

ItalyIn the description of the room it is specified that the kitchen was shared, however this information is not very evidenced when booking.
Well located, in a very vibrant neighborhood. Yass, the host, was very kind and helpful with our late check in and early check out. The apartment is located next to an excellent place to drink a beer and smoke (Dali_). The room was comfortable, and the private bathroom was clean. There was a private parking space in front of the building. I recommend this apartment to stay in Amman.

United StatesIt's a budget friendly accommodation, so of course its going to be basic - but nothing that would justify a complaint.
The staff were the highlight of the hotel. The rooms were basic but more than adequate. The location was well located for those that enjoy good restaurants and high-end coffee shops. Would highly recommend!

SyriaWhat I didn't like about the hotel was the living room. The TV didn't work, and there was no air conditioning except in the bedroom. We had to keep it on so the living room could cool down. Also, the sofas in the living room were very uncomfortable. We felt like they were torture, not comfortable to sit on. Also, in the winter, there is no carpet on the floor.
The location is great as the hotel is located in Jabal Al-Weibdeh, a lively tourist area that has many services from the supermarket near the hotel to the delicious food shops nearby and the hotel’s own bar.

United StatesWe had a great stay at Dali House. The place was clean, comfortable, and in a good location, close to everything we needed. It also felt very safe, which we really appreciated. Yassan was nice, patient, and helpful throughout our stay. He answered our questions and made sure we had what we needed. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

United StatesThe wifi did drop out for short periods of time, but aside from some video call interruptions it was fast and effective. It would have been great to have a small table and chair in the room, but not necessary for most guests.
I stayed at Dali house twice for a total of about a week. Yassan, who was in charge during my stay was very kind, welcoming, and a huge help throughout my stay. The accommodation matched the photos, and was great value for the price. The neighborhood is my favorite in the city and I wouldn't hesitate to return.

ItalyRooms and linen are clean but here isn't much furniture, and it could use some refreshing. Beds are extra hard. Be aware that the rooms at the back of the building face an AC unit motor, which can be noisy — though it’s eventually turned off sometime during the night.
Excellent position; in a good neighborhood with an excellent selection of places for food, drinks, and snacks; close to the tourist attractions (downtown, citadel, blue mosque) but be aware that there are many uphill and downhill walks to reach them. Whole apartment with large rooms is ideal for a family. Friendly staff.

IrelandWe stayed for a week, not sure if our agreement didn't have the cleaning of the room or it is no never included as it is an apartment
Dali is ideal for families or groups (like the one I was with) as it has apartments with a common area and 4 bedrooms. One bedroom is en suite the other 2 share a bathroom, so if you need more privacy you will need to ask for the en suite and pay a bit more. Close to Dali House there is Dali Space a wonderful bar/restaurant where you can have all meals from 8am. It has been our base
