Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IsraelThe bathroom could be improved by adding proper tiling, making it a bit larger, and paying more attention to cleanliness
The hotel was excellent. The reception staff were very friendly, especially Tarek (Abu Saleh) who helped us a lot with discounts for an extra night and the spa. The room was nice but needs some renovation, especially the bathroom. The hotel is very spacious, the evening entertainment was great, and the spa was absolutely amazing with very kind staff from the reception to the lifeguard. The only negative point is that bringing outside food into the hotel is not allowed.

JordanNothing to complain about
The room was great, they gave me a room on the second floor with sea view, it was really nice. It was clean has Everything , even an iron with table. The breakfast was very good, I wished if there was more cheese varieties. The Spa is the main reason I chose this hotel, it has indoor pools with waterfalls, a jacuzzi, Dead Sea water pool, a sauna and steam room. With most likely visit this hotel again

JordanCleanliness of shared bathrooms like within resturant or the one at the pool was poor. The service at the resturant was poor looks like they are understaffed.
The pool was great for the kids. All places were within walking distance from our room. The staff is super friendly.

ItalyRoom service and check are slow. I have to wait 10 minutes for checking in. Few persons at the desk and long conversations with hosts delay the check in process. To have slippers and beauty kits as well as some food in the room requested at least 20’ from my request. The staff does not speak English fluently.
Very comfortable. Possibility of direct access to the Dead Sea. The room was quite clean but it is recommended to improve the cleaning service to ensure the highest standards according to a 5 stars hotel as the Crown is. The buffet for dinner and breakfast allows to choose among several dietary options. Swimming pools very enjoyable.

Jordan- The number of sunshades was not sufficient for all guests, which led to us waiting for about an hour. Afterwards, we moved to a shaded area, but no sunshade was provided for us. The number of sunshades should be increased. - The chairs at the event were also insufficient, which forced us to wait until some guests left so we could take their seats. The number of chairs should be increased. - The tables around the pool area should be cleaned.
- The staff’s politeness and courteous behavior - The resort’s vibes was beautiful

Saudi ArabiaMy recent experience at Crown Plaza Hotel was far below expectations, especially compared to previous visits. Unfortunately, the service and amenities have significantly deteriorated, making my stay frustrating and inconvenient. First, the **check-in process was extremely slow**, taking much longer than usual. Despite arriving at the standard check-in time, I had to wait excessively without any clear explanation or apology from the staff. To make matters worse, **my luggage was delayed for over two hours** after check-in. This was highly inconvenient, especially after a long journey when I needed access to my belongings. The staff seemed indifferent to the delay, offering no compensation or sincere effort to resolve the issue quickly. Additionally, **the room lacked basic amenities** that should be standard for a hotel of this caliber. Essential items were missing, forcing me to repeatedly call housekeeping, which further wasted my time. Overall, Crown Plaza has clearly declined in service quality. The inefficiency in check-in, luggage handling, and inadequate room preparation made my stay stressful rather than relaxing. I hope management addresses these issues promptly to restore the hotel’s former standards.

AustraliaLimited (nothing) vegetarian options at restaurants, therefore had to eat in our room for all meals other than breakfast. Dead Sea beach opening timings are unclear, best to check beforehand, unable to watch sunset.

JordanThe variety of food was limited, and the chicken was rubbery. Additionally, the DJ at the adult pool was excessively loud, making it difficult to relax. At night, if you’re someone who doesn't enjoy parties and noise, you won't find a calm place to sit.

United KingdomThe Dead Sea beach is miserable. We paid for the dinner in the buffet restaurant and we realised they didn’t refill all the food. (Hummus and tradicional deserts) Our breakfast was included, but we asked for a lunch bag. We expected more in the bag for a 5star hotel.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

United StatesTheir poor planning
The stay was comfortable. The staff was accommodating. The facilities are enjoyable. The pool staff is a bit rude overall. We spent most of our time by the kids/family area and spent a long time before anyone noticed us and came to serve us refreshments. The biggest issue though, had to do with the fact that they booked someone's wedding on a busy weekend so at night, there was no seating for their main event as all the seats went to the wedding... Bad organization and/or planning

QatarThis is a big resort with mainly families and kids around. Unfortunately we were there during the Eid peak and the hotel was noisy and slightly chaotic. Good news is there’s a small separated section for adults only and that was the saving grace for us. The service at the el grito bar, main bar and the spa was excellent. We had friendly and personalised service, amazing view and the best time relaxing at el grito bar despite the crazy crowd all around. My comment for improvement is for more help and information from the team at the front desk. Also from the lifeguard when accessing to the Dead Sea - I would appreciate more care for first timers and maybe providing water shoes. Lastly there should more options for food/restaurant in the hotel especially when it’s packed.

JordanActually, the breakfast was the reason i would rate the hotel 8/10 We didn't really enjoy the breakfast, eventhough there was variety of options that suit everyone's taste, we just thought it could be better, most of the things tasted like canes and not freshly made, white cheese was super salty, fruits were canned, there was fresh fruits like bananas and apples and oranges, but the rest was canned. Something else we didn't like, there was no hair dryer in the bathroom, and everytime we took a shower water was splashing everywhere on the floor..
The staff were very friendly, we enjoyed the dj and night evening with the lady singer, we ordered food to the room from room in dining and it was very delicious.
