Nothing not to like about the hotel.

The Black Iris is a true gem very close to the main sites in Madaba. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, and everything was delicious! We ate breakfast outside on the patio which was very pleasant. We highly recommend this hotel, and was excellent value for money. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. The room was a good size, bathroom was well appointed, and everything very clean.

I booked the hotel for a late arrival at the airport so based on location, free parking and 24 hours desk. So wasn't expecting much but the hotel is actually very nice: friendly staff, good breakfast, close to city center, clean and large room.

In contrast to the fantastic reception staff, the breakfast staff (except for the lady preparing the breakfast) seemed a bit unhappy. This is an extremely small gripe in an otherwise perfect place.

This is the perfect choice if you want to explore the area around Madaba. First of all, you will be greeted by the extremely friendly and professional reception desk, especially S’aa (which means purity). You will immediately be made to feel welcome and comfortable. It is especially good if you are driving a hire car because there is plenty of parking in a secure parking area and the location of the hotel is just outside of the centre so it is very easy to get to. The room is large, quiet and fully equipped with everything you need, including a very good shower. You won’t find a better place to stay in Madaba.

The only problem was the curtain with the room, which lets all the light from the outside in, so we woke up really early.

Air conditioning positioned over one person’s side of bed. Shouldn’t really be over the bed at all. Fridge not on so water bottles warm on arrival. That’s being a bit picky. Really nice people.

Clean, friendly, welcoming. Well equipped room, big bed, extra blanket, air conditioning. Great shower. Good breakfast. Nice breakfast room and outside terrace (didn’t use terrace). Helped us organise a taxi to airport - nothing was too much trouble.

Excellent facility in a great location near the center and the main attractions (5-10 min walk), it has also very useful parking. Stuff very friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommended!

Absolutely nothing!

Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Diana and Rami and It was like leaving two old good friends: they made our stay really perfect: great care, smile, professionality, and a very unusual, because excellent, value for money! If we come again to Madaba, we will of course stay at your home....ops...hotel, but in this case Is really the same!! Thank you!

Our stay in Madaba was really restful, we slept super well in the Black Iris Hote, the room is spacious, the bathroom and the shower are amazing, and the beds are so comfortable. The breakfast offered diversity and was very good.

There is no videt in the toilet. Else, everything are perfect.

The room is big and very clean, bed big and comfortable and very friendly staff, specially Diane at the reception. Always with a very sweet and friendly smile and very helpful, giving tips and suggestions of what can we visit and do during our stay. The breakfast is good and the hotel is centrally located.

Google maps had us stop at the alley before the hotel. It would be a good idea to post a sign there with an arrow to the hotel. The only other slight complaint was that the room is quite small. It's absolutely fine for a night or two though. Otherwise, we have no complaints!

This was a little gem of a hotel. Great location, close to the main tourist areas. Nicely updated, clean, with comfy bed. Loads of seating all around the hotel, good wifi and really wonderful staff. We also felt this hotel was excellent value for the cost. Would highly recommend.

Centraly located with private parking. Very nice hotel. We used their promotion for Dead sea beach entrance which was perfect. The only thing I miss was espresso for breakfast

The hotel can be hard to find if you are arriving late at night. Navigating the roads around Madaba center is tricky. And the road from the airport is not well lit.

The room is modern, clean with lift access. The staff is courteous and helpful. We ate the dinner buffet on our last night, and it was excellent. St. George Church is within walking distance. There is also a modern mall within a short walk.
