How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewPerfect location. In the middle of the desert, at the foot of a huge cliff. Nice camp, very comfortable with big tents. The evening around the fire in the cave, learning on Bedouin culture is so amazing. The personnel is very friendly. Far from cities and roads, the night is totally black and we can see so many stars including the milky way. Great place where to stay. Do not hesitate anymore !
Given the excellent experience, my stay was too short ! I only think of the next one.

Verified reviewA Magical Escape in the Heart of the Desert – Unforgettable Wadi Rum Experience 🌌🏜️ If you're even thinking about visiting Wadi Rum, stop thinking and book this camp immediately. This isn’t just a stay — it’s an experience that touches the soul. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness. The Bedouin hospitality here is something special — always attentive, yet never pushy. Unlike many touristy places, there’s no pressure to buy anything, which makes everything feel so much more authentic and relaxed. You're treated as a guest, not a customer — and that changes everything. The food was absolutely incredible — every meal felt like a feast under the stars. Traditional dishes, slow-cooked and full of flavor, served fresh and hot in a communal setting that made us feel right at home. It was one of the best culinary surprises of the whole trip! The tours were breathtaking. Our guide was not only knowledgeable but had a deep respect and love for the land. From towering sandstone cliffs to narrow canyons and vast, silent valleys, every stop on the jeep tour felt like stepping into a movie. And the sunset... no words. Just pure desert magic. At night, lying under a sky bursting with stars, far from the noise of the modern world, you remember what peace really feels like. And the camp itself? Clean, comfortable, and set in a perfect location — secluded enough to feel wild, yet with just the right touch of comfort. This wasn’t just one of the highlights of my trip to Jordan — it was one of the highlights of my life. Thank you to the entire team for giving us something so rare these days: a real, human experience.

Verified reviewIf you're looking authentic place to stay, this is best what you can wish. Comfortable room (own tent) to sleep in beautiful place with amazing service. Bedouins (the hosts) are very friendly, communicative and willing to help anyway. The talks (at the camp fireplace) about the life, stories, traditions and habits make the stay just top experience.
Honestly, nothing really wrong. Maybe one detail for the trips: the board for riding the sandy slope would be much better with working straps so adrenaline junkies (like me) can enjoy the stand-up ride. That's the only small thing I miss to have absolutely perfect experience.

Verified reviewWe spent 2 nights in the camp , it was absolutely fantastic, thank you so much Mohammed and Sultan "King of the Desert" and all your family for your hospitality and the wonderful time and the memories which we'll never forget . The camp is very basic but not in a bad way, if you want to experience traditional life of the Bedouin people this is the place to go , a truly magical place. We done the whole day Jeep tour and the star gazing tour on camels, both were excellent and I can highly recommend.
Absolutely nothing.

Verified reviewMohammed and his family have created something really special ❤️ Very good communication - everything from time of booking was clear and organized for us. We did the full day jeep tour and can’t recommend enough. Our guide Ibrahim was full of stories and so willing to share. He prepared us a delicious lunch in the desert. The tents are basic but super comfy and clean. Shared bathrooms were kept very clean through the day & have hot showers. The common area is so cozy. Food was unreal! The best was just sitting by the fire with everyone in the evenings drinking tea and just hanging out. This experience was the highlight of our Jordan trip.

Verified reviewWe loved sleeping in the upper cave at Wadi Rum camp. We got to gaze at the stars and constellations –a spectacular sight–from our seethrough tent as we laid down to sleep. The cave was surprisingly warm and the mountains blocked the wind so we did not feel chilly when we slept there. This was the highlight for us. We also went for the sunset Camel ride as well as the half-day jeep tour which we loved. The bedouin hosts were graceful and friendly, making sure we felt comfortable and at home all the time. They always made sure we had enough time to prepare ourselves, and always kept us hydrated with water. They were also always happy to answer any questions we had about Wadi Rum, Bedouin lifestyle and the desert. We highly recommend anyone looking to make memorable experiences to stay at Mohammed's Bedouin night camp. 6 out 5 stars.
To be honest, we were happy with the entire experience at Bedouin night camp. Of course, hot water in the showers were limited, and electric sockets were also limited to the main food hall - but that's what you should expect living in the middle of the desert. I think the guys at the Bedouin camp have prepared more than ample facilities and amenities to make sure we were comfortable.

Verified reviewThis is my second time staying with this camp because they are awesome! It's easy to contact with them, and they really put efforts in giving you the best experience. Even though the bathrooms are shared, they are always clean and in good condition so no worries! I would say they provide you the best local experience, and at the same time everything is taken care of.
Everything is great :)
