A wonderful stay in every sense of the word! The camp is very clean and comfortably equipped, with spacious tents, comfortable beds, and excellent cleanliness. The location is perfect inside Wadi Rum, where you can enjoy the most beautiful views of the mountains and the stars at night. The atmosphere is authentically Bedouin, giving you a sense of peace and tranquility. Haitham was an exceptional host, welcoming us with a smile and making us feel at home. He took us on a jeep tour through the desert and showed us the most beautiful spots, and also organized a magical sunset and stargazing experience. The food was very delicious and traditionally prepared at the camp. I highly recommend this camp to anyone looking for a genuine Wadi Rum experience away from the noise and crowds. Thank you, Haitham, for these unforgettable memories.

    The Jeep Tour

I was alone in the camp, in the middle of the desert with only a guy. I felt very nervous because he asked me questions like „are you married?“ „did you ever considered marrying a Jordan man“. If it would stop there I would not be scared but then he started asking about if I am a virgin and talked bad about sexworkers. In general this Man looks down on woman. YOU HAVE SISTERS IMAGEN SOMEONE WOULD AKT LIKE THIS TO YOUR SISTERS.

    Property response:

Your comment is very surprising, as it does not reflect what actually happened nor what we offer here. Our camp is a traditional, family-run place where we organize desert tours, nothing more. You were the only guest that night, and the conversation you’re referring to was initiated by you, involving personal and sexual topics. I responded respectfully, but it’s clear your expectations were not those of a typical tourist visit. If you came here looking for something other than a cultural and natural desert experience, you chose the wrong place. Your rating of 3 has little impact on our overall score (9.3/10 from over 170 reviews), but it unfairly casts doubt on our integrity. What we offer are jeep tours, starry nights, and genuine Bedouin hospitality, certainly not our bodies. I suggest you reflect on what you were truly looking for during your stay. Perhaps Thailand would be a better match for your expectations.

Haitham and his brothers were amazing. I stayed at their camp two nights, with a jeep tour (I recommend to do not less than 3h), it was like nothing else, also the food delicious and very well presented. The second day I was the only guest at the camp but at any time felt alone, these guys know how to keep you entertained, we end up dancing dabka and macarena and talking for hours around the bonfire after dinner. Thank you guys for the amazing hospitality and experience!

Haitham and his brother are such incredible people and it was an honour to stay at their desert camp. I felt so incredibly safe as a solo female traveller. They are so rich in knowledge as their family has lived in the Wadi Rum for centuries. They have two cats who are adorable and the camp was so nice. They cooked a traditional bedouin dinner by cooking it in a hole and burying it (it was delicious). Haitham was above and beyond nice and accommodating with me even when I was difficult and I couldn't have asked for a better experience, I booked a sunset tour with Ahmed and he was a great guide! He knew all the good spots and was very fun to be around. The camp itself is beautiful and well-priced. Keep in mind you will have to pay to be picked up from the entrance but they're an honest pair of brothers and will not scam you. The beds were also so comfortable I genuinely think I had the best sleep of my life with the 12 blankets they provided haha. The common area is very comfortable, they have a guy offering camel rides around and you can see the Milky Way with your own eyes at night.

Nothing! Thank you Haitham and Ahmed!

We had the best time in our life there. Everything exceeded our expectations. We really recommend going on a full day jeep you, it includes hiking, lunch and a lot of beduin tea with sunset. As women travelling alone we felt really comfortable and safe. Our hosts speak English very well and we're very helpful and hospitable. The food was amazing and water was hot.

Beautiful stay in Desert Heart Camp. Wonderful hosts, clean rooms, very good food and all of this in a breathtaking landscape. Nights are calm (and can be quite cold in November), but once it gets, dark they put on some fire and you can sit outside and enjoy the stars. Highly recommend to stay here!

An Unforgettable Experience in the Heart of Wadi Rum! I stayed at Wadi Rum Desert Heart Camp, and it was an unforgettable experience in every way! The camp is located in a magical area of Wadi Rum, where you can enjoy breathtaking desert views and the peaceful atmosphere that fills the place. I loved the authentic Bedouin experience, from the warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere to the fun activities like camel rides and jeep tours showcasing the beauty of the desert in every detail. There are plenty of options: you can choose to stay in a cozy tent within the camp or try sleeping under the stars. The food served was delicious and reflected the generosity of Bedouin hospitality. Additionally, the service was excellent, and the team was friendly and attentive to details. I highly recommend Wadi Rum Desert Heart Camp to anyone looking for a unique experience in Wadi Rum. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the desert's natural beauty and the clear night sky. I’ll definitely be back!

I had such an incredible time here! Haitham picked me up right from the visitors center and we started the 3 hour jeep tour. So many great spots to see and Haitham told me all about the history of Wadi Rum and Bedouin culture and able to answer all my questions. At the camp, the rooms were clean and cosy. We ate our meals in a large, comfortable tent, with the meals being delicious and filling! After the sun set, we had a fire, drank tea, and all chatted as we watched the stars. Amazing experience! They go above and beyond for their guests and I would recommend them to anyone visiting Wadi Rum for both an overnight stay or a day tour. Thank you again!

It was my first trip to Jordan but Wadi Rum Camp gave me an unforgettable experience in every sense of the word. The camp is beautifully located amidst the stunning desert scenery, where you can enjoy peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The accommodation tent was comfortable, clean and had a great view of the stars at night. The desert tours and camel treks organized by the camp were also very enjoyable and added another dimension to the experience. The staff at the camp were very friendly and took care of all the guests needs, which made me feel like i was at home I would recommend this camp to anyone looking for an authentic experience in the heart of the Wadi Rum desert. Thanks everyone for this wonderful hospitality, and I will definitely be back as soon as possible.

The camp is really nice. You can watch the sunset from there. The tent is clean, bathroom is new. Warm blankets. They have a traditional tent for the dinner and another one with fire, we could sit there after the dinner to eat cake and have a tea. A brand new camp run by six brothers. We stayed with them for two nights and they were wonderful hosts. They are authentic Bedouins and show a love of the desert and pride in their Bedouin lifestyle. Their great grandfather fought with Awda and TE Lawrence. The eldest brother Haitham is the business manager and tour organizer. He contacted us immediately after booking and arranged an overnight camel tour and a full day jeep tour. He also arranged transportation from Aqaba to Wadi Musa (Petra). This saved us a lot of money and hassle. Omar and Abdullah run the trips and unlike most other guides took the time at each stop to take photos and guide us on foot.

Haitham and his brothers are very friendly, make you feel welcome, speak good English and are happy to share information about Wadi Rum. The camp is traditional, no luxury but comfortable and quiet. The food was very good and they cook traditional zarb. You get everything you need: shower, tea, water, food and warm blankets. Haitham also arranged a cheap taxi for us to Aqaba.

To experience the true Bedoein life this is the camp! The camp consists of ten bed tents with nice beds, a toilet/shower building and a central building with a stove. We stayed for two nights and had a full day jeep ride with Omar. Haitham did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Dinner was prepared Bedoein way with a hole in the ground. After dinner we had pleasant conversations by the fireside with the family and other guests. My wife had a stomach ache when we arrived, thanks to the herbs from the Bedoein this was soon over. At night we enjoyed the peace and the stars

The camp and tours were great exactly as advertised. The guides spoke enough English to understand. They have a website with fixed prices and we negotiated a deal based on our revised itinerary and everything went smoothly. They picked us up and dropped us off at the agreed time. No hidden fees at the end. Haitham and his family were excellent and honest hosts and we enjoyed their stories from the camp. I highly recommend this camp for a Bedouin experience!

The communication with the hosts was great. The food was delicious. The blankets were warm and although I was worried that I might feel cold at night, it didn't happen. I had the best sleep I have had in years. The common area was a nice place to hang out and chat with the hosts and other guests. The tour was also nicely organised, as the pick-up and drop-off at the bus station. I enjoyed the great balance between traditional (authentic) and modern amenities.
