How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The price of the coffee in the hotel is unreasonably expensive.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful! The service was excellent, and the cleanliness was top-notch. The location is also great — close to everything and perfect for relaxation. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. I highly recommend staying here, and I definitely plan to come back again

The reception staff were very helpful and professional, and I truly enjoyed my stay. I will definitely stay there again.
It is worth more than what we pay for it—clean, comfortable, and quiet rooms near a push-and-serve area. I highly recommend it.

I had an exceptionally pleasant stay at Gloria Hotel in Amman during my recent business trip. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly welcomed and valued. The staff’s warm and professional approach made a significant difference in my experience. A special thanks to Mr. Mohammad Inaya for his outstanding support and genuine hospitality. His attentive and thoughtful service, along with the rest of the dedicated team, ensured that all my needs were met with efficiency and kindness. The hotel’s comfortable ambiance and excellent amenities made me feel right at home, providing a perfect balance of relaxation and productivity. The location of Gloria Hotel is also incredibly convenient — close to Makka and City Malls, making shopping and dining easily accessible. Additionally, the easy and nearby access to the airport and King Hussein Bridge made my travel planning much simpler and more efficient. I highly recommend Gloria Hotel to anyone visiting Amman for business or leisure — it’s a place where you are genuinely cared for, and treated like family. Thank you once again for a memorable stay!

The staff was perfect and the hotel was clean and the location was perfect the room atmosphere from the bed to the lighting to the bathroom was spotless and the beds very comfortable to a degree that you feel relaxed like in the spa and Mr nassif is one of the best stuff there is very helpful and delightful all the time

This was my second time staying at this hotel, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. The rooms are clean, modern, and extremely comfortable, with excellent soundproofing that ensures a peaceful night’s sleep. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and I would especially like to thank Mohammad Enayah for his outstanding service and attentiveness. He consistently made sure we were comfortable and provided exceptional assistance. The hotel’s location is also a major plus — it’s strategically situated close to several shopping centers, which makes everything very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back again.
