How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

It was clean , the rooms were perfect and even the plug sockets where next to the bed , the bathroom looked modern and had no problem with anything. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was a hassle. Thankyou so much

I would like to express my utmost satisfaction with my experience at this wonderful hotel. The place is remarkably clean and well organized, making you feel comfortable from the very first moment. Parking options near the hotel are limited. However, this did not detract from my overall positive experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasurable and enjoyable stay, thanks to the big, clean rooms and the wonderful staff like Munirah who go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.

The bathrooms appear to have a drainage issue. So there was always water on the floor after showering. The shower shoots out and there's no shower enclosure or toilet roll holder.
The staff were all very helpful. Munira was very welcoming upon our arrival. Lots of smiles. They did what they could to make our stay comfortable. Ayah made my eggs in the morning just as I liked them.

I absolutely loved everything! The staff, very attentive, the upgrade of the room, the quietness (not exactly in the city center so more quiet), the breakfast, the swimming-pool. If i return to Aqaba, i would book it again!

The property was beautiful and clean. Breakfast included was very tasty. Muneera was the kindest, and she made the whole stay fantastic. She called taxis for me when needed and made me feel very at home! I could not recommend this hotel more; it is fantastic!

Very beautiful hotel. Very clean. Beautiful view from the room. Swimming pool overlooking the sea. Breakfast was also very good with a lot of choice. The receptionist was very nice and kind. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Nothing we enjoyed every minute
A very comfortable and clean hotel, near to the main shopping area of Aqaba. The air conditioned rooms were lovely and the breakfast was really good. We really enjoyed returning to the pool for a late swim after a very busy day. The best part of the hotel however was it's lovely, welcoming receptionist. She helped us so much, arranging trips, getting us packed lunches and arranging taxis. She made our stay so happy and easy. Aquba is a great location for swimming and diving in the Red Sea and for going on trips to Wadi Rum and Petra.

The breakfast offered was quite basic, and there was also a limited amount of space and number of tables available to accommodate all guests.
The lady working at the reception was exceptionally kind and attentive. She went out of her way to accommodate all of our requests, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Her warm demeanor and willingness to help made our experience particularly enjoyable and memorable. We truly appreciated her efforts, which contributed significantly to the overall pleasantness of our visit.

Lack of wifi
Helpful manager, easy to walk to the Roman remains which are extensive. The manager arranged a cheap but nice evening meal and the breakfast was good too. He gave us a suite room too. There is a wonderful view over the town and Roman remains from the top floor
