United KingdomI stayed in a suite, one of the TVs didn’t work and after asking several times for someone to fix it I gave up. Some staff could be more pleasant especially the restaurant staff. No elevator. There is literally a beach across from the hotel but it really needs a clean up.
Size of the suite was spacious with a good size bed. Breakfast was good although the staff could be a bit more pleasant. Clean room, nice toiletries Good location, close to doctors cave and harmony park. Good security

United StatesNo coffee in the room only tea. Couldn’t eat breakfast outside due to only one waitress. Oh and the room was underwhelming and did have a mold odor. But the high humidity probably contributes to that. The windows in the room were high so couldn’t see outside.
Location was great. The staff were very friendly and they are constantly cleaning. I included breakfast for this hotel and the Jamaican breakfast was great. Loved that they had a fridge and microwave.

The room was mosquito free, had plenty of A/C or a fan. Quiet and peaceful. The hotel is on the hip strip and close to most of the action. Walking distance to wherever you wish to go. Friendly staff with ready smiles and very informative. Lovely restaurant area with walls decorated with celebs and national heroes.

United StatesOur stay was over the New Year and there was a lot of guests at the hotel. The parking lot was full. Luckily they did have an over flow parking lot next door.
I loved that there was a security guard in the parking lot and also watching the stairs to the main lobby and rooms. Everyone was really friendly and professional. The breakfast was pretty good too. Also, the location is excellent! We were able to walk 10 mins to Doctor's Cove Beach, although there were closer beaches that we walked past.

United KingdomRooms are little compact and get very hot without the use of A/C. The small, sliding UPVC windows don’t feel secure enough to leave open during the day or night. Breakfast options were too limited and lacked fresh fruit and vegetables as healthy options. The Chef was absent / off sick on several occasions during our 7 day stay, including on New Year’s Day which we were not informed of until we went down 1 hour before breakfast ended. The alternative arrangements were for guests to leave the hotel and walk a short distance to Hotel 39 (partnered). Whilst this was a satisfactory arrangement, guests should be informed as early as possible in order to be prepared, on time (and suitably dressed to leave the hotel). Breakfast timings at Hotel 39 are different to Altamont, ending 30mins earlier. I think the option of a cold take away breakfast, such as a tea/ coffee station, fruit, bun & cheese/ muffin and a boxed juice should also be made available daily.
Great location for local beaches including walking distance to Harmony Beach Park, shops, restaurants and Montego Bay downtown shopping centres and market. Hotel facilities, dining area and room amenities are modern and good. The option of a cooked Jamaican or ‘continental’ breakfast included in the price of the stay is an added bonus for guests.
