The interior feels homely

The exterior of the compound was void of aesthetics

Everything worked very well. CTBH is the bestest place in Kingston. It is a must.

Sheldon was there to meet me on arrival and insisting on carrying my bag for me. When he opened the door, I was so happy to see a clean, well furnished and comfortable studio with everything I needed. He was so helpful with local information and contacts. I loved staying here and wish I could have had a few more days. The bed was super comfortable.

Decor was nice and modern, snacks available on arrival. Warm welcome by host and plenty of information received via email.

The pool being out of action that was never advertised or made clear before the visit was disappointing TV not straight forward to operate - DVD player didn't work Mosquitos in the room at night

I loved the very warm welcome from the host and his team. I loved the check-in throughout my stay to query if I was comfortable. I must emphasise on how wonderful I experienced Sheldon to be -it was as if nothing was beyond his reach, to help ensure my happiness while staying at the apartment. I loved the apartment. I stayed in unit 9, and the decor was in a league of its own, and every utensil imaginable was there (from home to home). The cleanliness of the apartment was so inviting. Miss Holeness does a wonderful job - a true asset to the team. I highly recommend this apartment and I intend to return, to re-live the experience. Thank you Sheldon and Miss Holeness, I truly had a wonderful time. See you soon God willing!

Clean, fresh contemporary studio apartment. Had everything we needed.

The pool was not usable

Property quiet in decent neighborhood

First of all, I just want to give a massive shout out to my host Sheldon, who always had clear communication, met us promptly at the accommodation for check in and was on hands to answer all of our questions. He is probably one of the most friendly hosts I have ever met. The actual property itself is cute and cozy, and just like the pictures that are online. It was in a good area and we was there for the Vybz Kartel concert, in which we were able to reach the National Stadium within 10 minutes driving. It was also close to my favourite Devon‘s house and also round the corner from the Bob Marley Museum. The apartment came with the cutest little hamper snacks, multiple towels for us to use and all facilities work clean and in great working condition. The space is not the biggest, but it is perfect for two adults as I shared with my sister and it wasn’t feeling too cramped.

My only criticism of the property, would be the bed was slightly harder than I would prefer and the pillows could’ve been a bit firmer. There was also a smell coming from I think the vents or the microwave, not quite sure but it constantly smell a little bit like spaghetti bologenaise. This could’ve just been from perhaps the previous person who stayed. However, this smell was quite mild and did not make a massive impact on the overall stay.

The location secluded

There's not much to dislike but if I was nitpicking I would say the traffic in Kingston was really bad but nothing about the location but the traffic was expected I guess.

The exterior of the property at Studio #16 on Seymour Avenue was disgusting and run down. The building is badly in need of a painting job,when i arrived at the entrance of the property i could not believe the terrible condition of the exterior of the building. The pot holes were unbelievable,just awful,the description of the property on the internet is totally misleading. If i saw in the ad what i saw when i arrived....i would never have made reservations to stay there...and i will never recommend Choose To Be Happy Studio #16 to anyone i know visiting Kingston,Jamaica. The owners need to do better,yes the place is cheap....but now i see why. I wouldn't have a problem paying a higher price for a decent place,but i wanted a small location just for four days and the pics were convincing,i even showed the pics to my colleagues at work and they agreed that the location looked great....not!!! I had reservations at The Jewel....but i got a call telling me that there had been a leak and the repairs wouldn't be done in time for my arrival. Anyway....i would never recommend Choose To Be Happy Studio #9 or #16 to ANYONE....i would be terribly embarrassed. You do not want me to post pics!!!!

The location was very good.

24 hrs security gate was not much professional, no cameras , no intercom for entry visitors.

Host is fab the apartment is lovely great location quiet and easy access to everything snacks and goodies upon entry enjoyed my stay and it looks like the pictures show

Location, location, location! Was just perfect for us. The place looks nicer than the photos. The location is a stone throw from most attractions, safe and quite.

No balcony to sit outside but the comfort inside made it up.

Centrally located, good facilities, parking, wifi.

Laundry being a little difficult to access if you cant get tokins

The kitchen appliances were clean, the bed with the blanket was comfortable, Nice office space and convenient shelves. The area was nice and quiet the pool was clean and when issues arose our host (Shakeya) was quick to assist.

Can't think of any complaints was a great stay
