We had a fantastic stay at Bailey's Bed and Breakfast. The location is ideal especially if you want to go to the beach and the staff made us feel comfortable and we were well looked after. There are beautiful sea views from the terrace of the building and breakfast was excellent !

Bit far from amenities and at top of very steep road, making access challenging. Would prefer cotton bedding rather than nylon.

The property is located on a hill with a nice breeze and spectacular, panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea.

Some of the access roads were quite ...jamaican ( potholes)

The tranquility of the neighbourhood was a blessing.The jamaican dishes for breakfast and also the chease omlete were amazing. Bailey is an amazing cook. The ocean view from the upper terrace is breathtaking and also from the balcony. The ocean is at 1500 m distance. The public beach&bar was at 7 minutes driving distance only!

Accommodation is based in a hilly area making it harder to travel on foot, however, there are drinks and snacks available on-site, a shared kitchen for food preparation and storage and the hosts are willing to provide transport to and from the local beach and tourist attractions.

A choice of native and European/American breakfast was available and served daily. Hot and cold drinks were available and served with the breakfast. The area is lovely and peaceful and its location on the mountain enables a beautiful mountain and sea view, especially from the rooftop.

What I didn't like has nothing to do with them. I didn't like that I went when it wasn't ackee season..!!

I loved that despite arriving after 11pm, Bailey was waiting and came out, took my suitcase, 2 big bags and our carry on luggage up to our room. He did the same thing when we were leaving at 7:30 in the morning. They were always available to answer our questions, but never overbearing. Loved my Jamaican. breakfast every morning. ABSOLUTELY loved the view from the rooftop. I went up there everyday and night. I spent half of my last day and half the night up there..!! So beautiful and peaceful. I also loved his currency board in the dining room. There were currency from all over the world. Despite it wasn't ackee season, Bailey did manage to get some ackee for us for breakfast two mornings. Side note. If you choose to stay there, contact them and ask them for the directions to get there. Google map will send you through a bad road.

The road and the hill

Road to the guesthouse, which was narrow & bumpy.

I think even two fried dumplins should be served with the cooked food even and be worked into the cost rather than a separate breakfast option.

The road getting there is my only set back

I strongly recommend this place to anyone traveling and need somewhere in the runaway bay area to stay. Mr. Bailey and princess are a cut above the rest, they are very friendly and courteous. The breakfast was well put together the real Jamaican style. You get value for money. I didn't get to enjoy the view from the balcony because it was raining crazily but I will definitely be returning very soon.
