Can’t think of anything negative at all!

My husband and I stayed at the Vatican B&B and had a fantastic experience. It is located very close to the Vatican yet in a quiet neighborhood that’s away from the noisy and crowded area. It’s also walking distance from the Metro station which made traveling around Rome very convenient via public transportation. The B&B is also in a safe neighborhood and close to great restaurants and convenience stores. The room we stayed in was large, cozy and well appointed. The real highlight of our experience was the owners of the B&B, Lyuba and Marco, who could not have been more hospitable, warm and thoughtful. The daily homemade breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and gave us a true taste of local Italian cuisine. Lyuba also made the best cappuccino every morning!😋 Before we left for Positano, they sent us off with pastry, a packet of pasta along with fresh tomatoes and basil so that we could make our own meal in the apartment if we chose to stay in. We were so touched by their thoughtfulness and the time spent chatting with them. They also helped us to make restaurant reservations and gave us plenty of great tips for where to visit, not to mention arranging for taxi and car service as well. In our two week Italian trip, this was by far our most memorable experience and will definitely stay here again when we return to Rome. Lyuba and Marco, thank you both for making our stay with you so warm, inviting and unforgettable. You make us miss Rome already and we look forward to returning soon for another visit! Words can not describe how amazing our stay was at Vatica B and B. From the moment of our arrival to the moment of our departure, Lyuba and Marco made us feel welcome like much cherished member of their own family. Each morning we looked forward to our time with them as they helped us plan out our day and made sure all was going well for our holiday. Lyuba prepared a feast every morning with various homemade recipes and Marco made sure all of our reservations were made each evening at just the perfect local restaurants. Staying with Lyuba and Marco was one of the highlights to our time in Rome. Thank you for everything. We look forward to staying again in the future.

I do not have enough words to say what an amazing and unique experience we had with Marco and Lyuba! My husband and I stayed with our two kids (8 and 4) and had the two bedroom suite. It was beautiful , clean, and in a great safe location in Rome. We woke up every morning to Lyuba’s fresh baked breakfast, and wonderful conversation with Marco and Lyuba! They went out of their way to make us feel like friends in their home from before we arrived with answering all my questions, booking us transportation to and from the airport and making top notch recommendations for restaurants (and even making reservations for us!) Also it is never easy traveling internationally with kids and they went out of their way to get cereal for our kids after the first morning to make them feel at home! I hope I’m lucky enough to return, but feel I always have friends to stop by to in Rome! Don’t hesitate to book you will not regret it!

We have had a fabulous trip to Rome. Lubya and Marco are top notch hosts absolutely deserving 10 out of 10. They were so helpful and gave us great recommendations. The breakfast was a feast of meat cheese eggs toast cakes etc Lots of choice and interesting things to try. They even cooked a birthday cake for my partner 🎂. Talk about going above and beyond. When I saw the 10 score I wondered how this had been achieved, but now I know, and I will definitely return. We wanted to be near to the Vatican and this was, we were there to see the white smoke and the new Pope, so it certainly was memorable. They offered to arrange a car to meet us at the airport, this made things so convenient and door to door. I thoroughly recommend Vatica B&B Roma

We had to stay in close contact with the owners before we arrived which could be difficult for travellers coming from overseas.

We loved staying here for our trip to Rome. We travelled with our toddler and the hosts were wonderful to her. They provided a toddler bed and gave her a treat when we left. The room was excellent and the breakfast was good every morning. The hosts helped us get a dinner reservation on our first night and helped get a car back to the airport when we left. The location was excellent and we were able to walk or take the subway to everything we wanted to see in the city.

Absolutely nothing.

We spent two nights here at the start of our Italian holiday, and honestly, it couldn’t have been a more perfect beginning. The room and facilities were not only comfortable but beautifully maintained — a real retreat after a day of exploring Rome, and just a short walk from St. Peter’s Square and the Basilica, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient. From the very beginning, even before we arrived, the experience was seamless. Lyuba and Marco were in touch with us to confirm details like payments and helped arrange our airport transfer, all with such clear and friendly communication. It set the tone for the rest of our stay — thoughtful, convenient, and stress-free. What truly made our stay exceptional were our wonderful hosts, Marco and Lyuba. They are the sweetest couple — so warm, generous, and full of fantastic local recommendations. Thanks to their tips, we were able to easily plan our days to visit the sights and enjoy meals at restaurants where we had some of the best food of our trip. Marco even helped us with reservations, ensuring we had a spot without any wait — such a helpful touch that made everything feel effortless. Each morning began with the most incredible homemade breakfast prepared by Lyuba — a full spread that truly had it all. From home made cakes and warm toast to eggs, sandwiches, fresh juices, espresso, and cappuccinos, absolutely nothing was lacking. And to top it off, Marco introduced us to Caffè Corretto — certainly a strong way to start the day. We were waking up to a feast every morning, and it was such a comforting and memorable part of our stay. We left feeling not just well taken care of, but genuinely welcomed. If I ever get the chance, I would love to return with my whole family. This place, and these hosts, are a true gem. Highly recommend!

As others have stated, there was slight traffic noise at night but that's expected given proximity to main road/attractions/metro train station.

We recently stayed at Vatica B&B and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we checked in, Lyuba and Marco were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we felt comfortable and at home. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfortable. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the metro station and close to many of Rome’s top attractions. A special thanks to Lyuba and Marco for going the extra mile by packing breakfast for us when we had an early morning flight. I’d highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Rome. Great stay! The overall experience exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean, spacious and modernly equipped, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, always ready to help with your query. Breakfast was varied and tasty, we enjoyed fresh and quality food every day. The location of the hotel is ideal - close to the center but in a quiet area, which gave us a great combination of relaxation and easy access to the main tourist attractions. We would definitely love to come back here and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality and a great atmosphere! David

Lyuba and Marco were excellent hosts. They went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and to ensure all your needs were taken care of. The renovation they described and the cleanliness of our room was wonderful. The breakfast was outstanding and severed in a family atmosphere where you had the chance to converse with them as well as other guests.. They made wonderful recommendations (as well as reservations) all within a short walk for family owned/operated restaurants serving great food at reasonable prices. The location to Vatican City, as well as many other great Roma attractions, was walkable or easily reached by bus or taxi. Nothing, it was perfect for us.

Vatica B&B is run by the most caring, amazing couple who will go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The facilities and comfort are excellent and the neighbourhood is safe and extremely well connected to the Metro and the whole of Rome. The breakfast is just beautiful with home made cakes, fresh fruit, cereals and cold meat and cheese. The owners booked us a cab for arrival and offered to book us restaurants too, which is often necessary, especially in the evening. They are on hand to recommend places to visit and made a great suggestion for an extra stop near a museum we were already seeing. They love their city and are keen to make sure their guests get the best out of their visit too. In all honesty, this is the best place we’ve stayed in 50+ years and we’ll definitely go back.

Excellent hosts Marco & Lyuba, couldn’t have been nicer, with recommendation of places to visit, places to eat and things to do in Rome. Lyuba’s breakfast was delicious with varieties of healthy home made pastries and cakes. We will definitely stay here again in our next visit. The bed is comfortable.

Everything was perfect. There was nothing we didn't like.

Luyba and Marco welcomed in their home. Both provided advice for exploring Rome. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh baked goods, meats, cheese, and sandwiches. Luyba made me the best cappuccino I had in all of Rome. The room was comfortable and very clean. The location was perfect. I would definitely stay at Vatica B&B Roma again.

Noisy at night with traffic noise although this does get better between midnight and 6 am.

Warm and welcoming hosts who were extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. Rooms were well kept and exceptionally clean. Liked the daily carafe of water and welcome refreshments. Lyuba and Marco were extremely informative, suggesting places to visit and good places to eat and booking tables for us too. They would join us for breakfast which was an amazing spread of pastries, savoury dishes, ham, cheese, eggs, cereal etc. some of which Lyuba had made herself and were delicious. Great position for the Vatican - 10 mins walk. 5 mins walk from metro for quick access to colosseum, palatine hill, forum etc. although this is within walking distance too albeit more like 40 mins. Would definitely book again.
