The hotel would really benefit from some renovation. It seems like it was a high-quality place in the past, but now many areas are showing signs of wear. The room cleanliness was below expectations. our feet would get very dirty from walking around. In the bathroom, there was no hair conditioner, and the smaller shower head didn’t work at all. We also weren’t too impressed with the food: dishes were often cold, and the tiramisu seemed to have just come out of the freezer, with little ice crystals still inside. One unusual and slightly awkward detail was the open conference space located in the middle of the guest room area, it had a large screen and didn’t quite match the atmosphere you expect in a hotel setting.

There were definitely some things we appreciated during our stay. The rooftop pool was very nice, offering a beautiful view and a pleasant atmosphere. In the evening, the lighting created a cozy mood, and the live music was a lovely touch. relaxing and well-performed. The beach area was also great: comfortable sunbeds, stylish umbrellas. We liked that the windows in the room could be closed completely, the room stayed cool, and we could sleep in total darkness, which was a big plus. The blankets were clean and fresh, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Restaurant food and service was very poor

The facilities and rooms etc were fab, but customer service by the staff at dinner on the roof top restaurant was very poor. The barmaid and barwoman lovely, but how the food was handed out, tables cleaned and quality of food were very poor. If I was a restaurant manager I would be appalled.

The breakfast buffet was a little too ordinary for a five star hotel. The restaurant at the roof did not meet our expectations, it took the kitchen very long to prepare the food, the meat was overcooked … the restaurant/bar at the beach had better food. No water in the rooms, we had to go and get it from the grocery near by. No service at the pool, and extra charge for the beach. There was no food in the afternoon.

My wife noticed a lack of dusting/cleaning throughout the rooms. Not that the rooms looked very dirty, but could have been swept/dusted/vaccumed more thoroughly. Considering the cost of staying in the hotel, the additional costs of renting sunbeds/parasol/gazebo at the beach seemed excessive.

Breakfast was ok - buffet with plenty on offer. Coffee was a bit slow as needed to first be ordered from staff, who seemed to be very busy. Pool and beach were lovely - although the charges for beach sunloungers/parasols/gazebos are excessive, considering the cost of the accommodation.

Could do with some variety at the restaurant, a lot of seafood, great for some but not all guests. We ate at restaurants on the strip, which there are plenty of options! Shame they didn't really offer any lunch options too.

Beautiful hotel, great facilities and very helpful staff, room was clean and tidy, air conditioning throughout. Pool was nice and quiet as most people went for the beach. Plenty of room to sit around and relax under a shade, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kids loved it, great size family rooms.

The rooms were not clean - under the beds and even in the safe there were crumbs and dust. The gym was two old treadmills and a couple of exercise mats. The woman in charge of the beach restaurant was rude. The breakfast was very average and the fact that you pay extra for the beach club doesn’t make sense. I also don’t know why parking is so expensive when it is not in a built up area.

The staff were friendly and approachable. The foyer was light and airy.

Some minor negatives I experienced:  1. No shops around or in the hotel. (not hotel fault, but some hotels have handy little shops inside for guests). 2. No entertainment in the hotel, yoga, aqua, zumba, games, sports.  3. Between 15:00 and 17:30 no food around, everything is closed. 4. Floors on top roof pool and bar seems like not cleaned from last night (or more) and are sticky and dirty.  5. There is an automatic light with a motion sensor above the door inside the room. At night it was going off by itself so it's really scary when you are in the room by yourself, asleep and light is turned on and off suddenly out of nowhere. Later, staff explained that there were some electrical issues for the whole Tirrenia. 6. It took about 20 min to checkout as there was a queue and only one person on the desk. 

Overall very positive experience and highly recommended hotel for quiet, relaxing holiday on the beach. I am solo traveller and stayed in for 3 nights. All areas are spavious not overcrowded and quiet ideal for those looking for relaxing holiday. I would come back again. To get there: Taxi from Pisa airport is €80-€100, it takes about 20-25 min by taxi, but you can take train and then bus (about €10 all together), it takes about 1h20min. Pisa mover train is perfect! But the bus was very crowded and hot. I will start with positives: 1. Hotel is very minimalistic, clean, communal areas and rooms smell fantastic and seems like rooms are renovated. In the room: fresh towels, shampoo, shower gel, body moisturiser. No hair conditioner, no slippers, no bathrobes. There is small kettle and two teabags for tea in the room. No laundry service in the hotel, but they will provide you with iron and ironing board (it was rysty and old but better than nothing!). 2. Hotel is right on the sandy beach, so it's perfect to enjoy the sun and the sea every day. You have to pay separately for loungers and gazebos on the beach (€25 per day for 2 loungers and umbrella, gazebo is more expensive but it's worth it, has 2 loungers, 2 chairs and a storage). There are two different pools available, one on the ground floor and one on the top floor 4, you can stay free on the loungers by the pool. Beach/pool towels are free of charge, no deposits or any hassle, changed every day at reception. 3. Hotel staff are very attentive, polite and friendly. Reception staff was the top class, always smiling, maintaining eye contact and ready to help with any issues. There was a welcome drunk, plus prosecco gift in the room. I also got a free bottle of water on a checkout, that's a very nice touch. 4. Food. Breakfast was included, it's basic but I never was hungry! Pastries, breads, sausages, some meats, salmon, cheese cereals and few fruits.

Breakfast very poor, it was the first time to have breakfast included but to get e.g. eggs or omlette you need to pay extra. The bartender in the bar at the top was screaming when I got inside to order some drink that she has just cleaned the floor and will have to do it again - we were the only people there at that time. Sha had nothing to do. The room was not clean honestly. Some long hair near bed and above bed. Bathroom after cleaning had still some trash left. 5 star hotel and no water on the room for the quests, very poor room, not even a night stand by the bed. Pool area very ugly and old. At the beach you had to pay for sunbed, umbrella. Staff - waitresses not quite friendly, I would say there are lazy. As a guest you have this feeling that they don't care at all.

Not a lot, but it says it’s a 5 star resort. The look and feel and the state of the pool I would give it a 3/4 star. But the service was definitely 5star! Incredibly sweet, helpful and accommodating staff.

Everything was so close and accommodating to children. But they also have an infinitely pool for adults only. So there’s something for everybody. The beach is just s few steps away and fully equipped with everything you need. Rooms were clean and equipped with cor for our daughter.

Surrounding area was very run down. Shower had some mildew and one of the seals on the shower door was missing. Breakfast was ok but we were asked to pay extra for omelettes and fried eggs, while smoked salmon was free?? No pool bar unless you went to the rooftop pool.
