How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing really.
Tric Trac Hostel is a great place to stay while in Naples. The facilities are clean and they have a huge common area on the 4th floor to relax and talk with new friends. Every night they have different events planned - (karaoke night, pasta night, trivia night, etc...)

Beds should have curtains, you cannot bring food to cook and you can only buy drinks from the bar (inside the hostel).
Good location, very clean, kind staff. They have activities everyday to meet people and have fun. Breakfast is good.

I guess the karaoke night is okay, but its too loud. I wish there can be curtains for each bed for privacy, and. the bar by the side is higher, I have a fear that Ill fall from the third level bunk bed

A bit noisy in the rooms, not really anyone’s fault but due to the architecture of the place (wide atrium staircase, that amplifies and echoes sound across the building) but thankfully free ear plug given at the reception if/when needed ;)
Great central location, super clean with friendly and caring staff. Great view from the rooftop and a couple of fun parties thrown in the common area on some nights (free pasta \o/)

Nothing negative to say. Something I have to suggest as a marketing thing only. Include the towels in the prize. I would prefer to pay more for the room, than pay for extra services. But that's just me and that is only a suggestion.
Everything was very good. The stuff was polite. The hostel was very clean. The location is perfect. Everything is very close and accessible. Nothing to complain. I will sure choose it again for my stay. Keep up the good work.

Literally can't complain about anything
The hostel activities were really awesome. Got to meet so many people during the summer. Breakfast there is also very tasty, and the staff were super friendly, helped me instantly when I had an issue. They also have a piano!!!

They have events at the bar every day, the free pasta day for example. The pasta was very very very bad...
It is clean, well located: laundry is around the corner, grocery store as well. Restaurants and bar arounds....

The room is clean, and housekeeping takes care of it every day. The location is perfect, close to everything you might need. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fresh to start your day right. Overall, a great stay—I’d definitely recommend it.

Noisy room-mates. The 3-tier bunkbed had a low rail, so, I was scared to sleep on the highest bed.
Good location. Air-condition is working well. Very good breakfast. Kind and helpful host. Good and useful kitchen. Clean bathrooms.

Good breakfast, near the city center and the sea, very close to metro stations and bus stops. From the hostel is quite easy to go anywhere in Naples.

No utensils in kitchen to cook with or cut veg/bread, couple of forks and butter knifes/spoons only. The kitchen is very small with one small fridge for a very large hostel. Best keep the cleaners happy and get out of the room whilst they are cleaning. The wrist bracelets you have to wear are a bit annoying - found it made you an easier target for tourist theft as they are bright orange and everyone would stare at them on public transport. I was there for 6 nights in 30° + humid heat, no sheet or pillow cover change in that time.
Friendly staff, good location, great to meet fellow travelers, good outdoor space, nice balcony to sit at night. Super comfy beds. The dorm room and toilet shower area is super spacious. Plenty of storage space in room for luggage
