Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing we didn’t like. If we had to really think of something the only thing I would say was more plug sockets but really nothing at all a great place.
The property was in an amazing location less than a 2 minute walk from the beach, 5 minutes from the old town and also 2 minutes from a local bakery. It was also very comfortable. Everything was thought of and a nice terrace to enjoy. Also quiet spot. It was excellent. Lots of towels. Even a jacuzzi although didn’t use it. Alessio the host was also super helpful and answered any questions we had with great recommendations always there to help.

Staff were unbelievably friendly. We somehow stupidly left our wallet in the room and they were fast to let us know after checkout and that obviously gone very wrong for us. Location could not be better. Highly recommend

The property is ideally located just a 5 minute walk from the historic center with many restaurants, bars, and stores a few feet away. It is also a 30 second walk to the beach. The hosts were incredible and attentive. They made our stay very pleasant and we can’t thank them enough. We parked within the blue lines and they provided us a parking pass so I did not have to pay. The room was romantic and quiet. We also appreciated the cleanliness; it was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable and there was both a very large shower and spa tub. There was also a coffee maker in the room, fridge, desk, closest, outlets on each side of the bed, WI-FI, cleaning supplies, and a beautiful terrace. Look no further for a romantic getaway. We will return and stay here again. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who asks.

Unfortunately, WIFI is extremely slow, and sometimes wouldn’t work. Also, the street corner can be loud with the exhaust of pumped up cars and motorcycles at night on weekends.
Only a few minutes walk to the beach, the property is quite luxurious, especially the bathroom, while a lot of small details and touches add up.

We liked the most how clean the property was. But it has many other great amenities, a great garden, large bathroom with everything you need (including a jacuzzi), a terrasse with comfy sofas to relax. Also, communication with host was seamless and we highly appreciated all their welcome gifts.

Terraza Levante is the perfect place to stay when you visit Otranto! Our room was well sized and very clean, the bed large and very comfortable. Lots of little snacks provided and homemade sorbet in the fridge that was DELICIOUS! We also had a spa bath in our room that's a nice touch. You're right by the main beach in Otranto and perfectly situated to explore the town by foot (a parking pass is provided for you if you have a car). Alessio and Adriana are warm, accomodating and just a WhatsApp away if you need anything.

The bed we slept on had a super soft mattress that almost turned "hammock" like and was extremely uncomfortable for me.
Staff was fantastic. Shower was amazing. Rooms and common areas were great. They provided beach towels and surprise gifts all along the way. Huge amounts of cupboard space. Lots of full length mirrors.

Everything was perfect
Spacious room with gorgeous bathroom with soaking tub and spacious modern shower. Elena was a terrific coast and responded immediately to all my requests. The room is one block away from the ocean has a huge terrace onto its own and the room was well stocked with all sorts of goodies like wine, breakfast snacks, water, etc. But if you need it there are wonderful markets for groceries and a laveteria if youve been traveling and need to freshen your wardrobe. would always be my first choice in Otranto

All great
Location: 100 metres from the sea. Short walk to Centro storico. Near many restaurants. 2 bedrooms. Comfortable beds. Roomy shower. Large kitchen and dining table/chairs. Large outdoor deck with sofas chairs, table. Alessandro was extra helpful. Found a parking spot and held it with his motorbike until we could get there. Carried our luggage. Recommended Restaurants and sent us a list of best beaches. The owners or alessandro stocked the fridge with waters, juice, bottle of wine. Also, cakes, cookies, basket of fresh fruit.

We spent a week in this beautiful accommodation and everything was perfect! We enjoyed our stayed very much! Alessio and his family welcomed us so warmly, even picking us up from the nearby parking, greeting us with delicious typical and/or homemade products. It was just amazing! And nowadays so seldom. We appreciate this attention very much! The room was very comfortable for us, even with a child. The bathroom offers all the amenities for relaxing after the beach. New, modern and very spacious. The location couldn’t be better: close to everything! To the beach, the the old town, to the bakery, supermarket! And the terrace: wonderful place to sit down and start the day! We would definitely come again! Can’t wait to be there soon! Thank you so much, Alessio & Family! We already miss Otranto!
