How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

A great place to stay if you're in Aosta for skiing. We had a room with two bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need: a gas hob, microwave, oven and cookware. The only thing we missed was a teapot, but it is not necessary in Italy. To the gondola lift 2 minutes by car, to all sights the same 2-3 minutes. The main advantage is the owner and his wife. If we come to Aosta again, the question of the apartment is already solved

quite noisy between appartments. location by the road and in an semi industrial area but it was close to what was needed for us.
style of the room, cosy and warm in an area that is not so attractive. Parking spot in front of the flat. owner or manager has got a very nice restaurant 2 miles down the road

There was a very unpleasant smell coming out of the shower drain. The mattress wasn’t that comfortable, felt like the strings on the sides were lower and resulted unbalanced.
Spacious and clean apartment with comfortable parking outside the building and easy automatic check in. Our host was kind and available.

When a spa will be finished in the first floor the premises will be fully superb.
all like new, fresh, neat and clean, wooden atmosphere, aircon was working great, we had a parking in front of the premises

An electric kettle would have been nice to be able to have tea or coffee in the morning.
Very modern and clean. The AC was a bonus given the summer heat. Comfortable beds. Luciano, the owner, was very helpful and nice. It's a bit far from Aosta centre but if travelling without a car, there is a bus stop just 2 mins away with regular buses every 25mins to the centre.

Parking not on site but very close by in a public car park. No kettle, fridge, cups etc…in the room. Too far to walk to the ski lifts or the town centre.
Clean and Tidy. Pizzeria downstairs. Close to a bakery. Very helpful and friendly owner. Very quiet location.

It was amazing! Luciano the host was very friendly and super nice, he was available for our every need in every hour. The restaurant was right below the room and it was so convenient, delicious and the stuff was super nice and friendly as well. The room itself was the cleanest I’ve seen and felt very comfortable and warm. The view from the balcony was breathtaking and the entire area is worth a visit. We had the best time here, very very recommended.

Everything was perfect. Owner even accommodated us and we ate at his amazing pizza restaurant at around 11pm since we arrived late. Will be back again

A lot of stairs on the way to the room. The Beds was too soft.

The Host Luciano is great , nothing is too much , the apartment has everything you need for a successful vacation , the pizzeria downstairs has great pizza. The location is just outside Aosta and is easily reached on foot in less than 20 min.

The best place we found in Aosta, the appartments are very big and modern, they are very clean and a great view, we had the best experience, the owner, Luciano and all the employees are great and very nice. there is a restaurant on the ground floor where we had the best pizza and dessert. We will definitely come back

Lovely apartment above a great pizza restaurant. The host was very responsive and welcoming. Easy access to some hiking trails and only 20min walk to Aosta train station.

Heating wasn't working, Wi-Fi wasn't working, a bit too far from the centre. The owner tried his best to fix the problem but we ended up with changing a cold and no sleep. We had to use our data cause wifi wasn't working at all.
