Susana, the host, was very kind and welcoming. The stay was pleasant, and the place was fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing experience. As well Puriana was kind and welcoming.

Fascinating property with interesting history. Huge rooms and extras like the library were a real treat. Susannah was an excellent host. The breakfasts were stunning. We loved it.

It was quite a walk to the lake but we found the N11 bus which is a 5-minute walk away and took us to the lake and to a lido. Highly recommend using that.

Late check-in and that was given a different room, not the requested one.

Breakfast was good, location was good, villa impressive

We were charged 50 euros for turning up 40 mins after the check in window. This extra charge was not advertised during the booking process. Only once the booking had gone through did the confirmation email mention the strict check-in rules and the fact that checking in after 7pm would incur a 30 Euro charge. The manager completely ignored this and insisted on charging 50 euros.

Attractive classic style building with very good size suite. Large terrace seating area.

Transport required as the location is quite unsuitable for elderly or those with mobility issues due to steep road and distance from lake side. Very limited partial lake view.

Breakfast was lovely and lady that prepared it every morning was amazing.

Weak wifi, lobby/stairway could use air conditioning.

Beautiful setting preserving old villa luxury like the libary, furniture, sound system. Incredible!

Just some mosquitos in our room that were very annoying and also it was possible to blackout all the light on the room (because of this i woke up early the morning).

The breakfast was excellent. Positioned if the hotel was far from city center.

I didn’t like the parking of the car. Was very difficult to get out from the property.

Beautifully located, very relaxing terrace surrounded by beautiful garden and trees. Excellent views. Room very comfortable and the house is absolutely beautiful.

Well furnitioned apartment with antique comfortable furniture, mrs Susana was looking after every thing, simple good breakfast. No kitchen and no boiler in the apartment but there was one in the breakfast room.

Location on a hill and away from the lakeside

The property is secluded, beautiful and a great location. Everything was clean and our room was tidied daily. The breakfast was delicious and the staff are friendly and helpful. When I travel I like to stay in areas a little further away from the crowds and this was perfect! The Villa is approximately 10 minutes by taxi to Lake Como. You can ride the buses for less of a walk as well, but we chose to take the ~20 minute walk one day and it was very easy.

The property is beautiful

Difficult to get our heavy luggage to the reception area. Although there was an elevator to the third floor there were quite a few stairs just to reach the reception area.

Breakfast was very delicious 😋 especially the chocolate croissant.

Parking was a little hard for a big car, and the room had a strange smell.
