Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustriaNothing we could think off
We had a wonderful stay at this resort. The garden is beautiful and creates such a relaxing atmosphere. The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay, and everything was kept very clean. All of the restaurant recommendations were spot-on and added an excellent touch to our experience. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for privacy and want to be away from crowded areas, yet still stay in a location that is easily accessible to everything. Truly a hidden gem!

RomaniaEverything was great!
Everything was great, Francesco was in touch with us all the time checking if we need something and the location has a lot of great amenities. You have the option to have the breakfast for 10 Euro and Positano is at 30 min drive. We highly recommend the resort!

United KingdomWe loved everything about this hotel. Our holiday was just perfect here. Francesco, the owner, was kind, helpful, warm, and welcoming - he made us feel valued and cared for. The hotel was perfection; the pool, exquisite pasta for lunch, traditional Italian breakfast, spacious and clean room that exceeded our expectations. And the location was wonderful. We got a real authentic experience of Italy, dining with locals at amazing restaurants, and it was a short and easy bus ride into Sorrento. We are counting down the days until summer when we can return.

United KingdomWe would have enjoyed having breakfast some mornings and availability to have light lunch if sitting by the pool. We were not sure if breakfast was available when we stayed in October as Francesco pointed us down the town to Racy’s for breakfast .
Everything. Beautiful panoramic views from the very large balcony. Bedroom, hallway and bathroom very spacious . An area in the hallway with ample storage wardrobes and drawer areas . Full large long mirror too. Very bright spacious rooms. King size bed extremely comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful . Beautiful pool and loungers alas did not use as so much to do and see . The restaurants that Francesco directed us to were great . Top marks to Tutt’appost , staff were excellent , food was great and they were so friendly . Coffee/pastry shop amazing from first thing in the morning till last thing at night all produce just amazing !! Racy’s too for drinks and food really good . We ate in the other 2 Italian restaurant but book ahead if you wish to sit inside as outside was a little chilly . Food and service again were great . ST Agata town everyone very friendly and helpful . Great bus service to go into Sorrento . 2 euros per person a journey . Francesco was always on hand to answer any queries on what app and usually pointed us in the correct direction with a few hints and tips along the way . Defo accommodation we would go to again and defo pass on their info to there travelling in this part of Italy . It was just fabulous . I was unwell the whole time I was there but this did not stop us making the most of our holiday .

United KingdomNothing we didn’t like about the property, it was great - but to be aware of: there is a 30-35 minute bus journey from Sorrento, but buses do run regularly and are easy to catch but can be very crowded.
Clean, tranquil, lots of nice spots to sit in the sun, pool was clean, room was spacious enough and cleaned everyday. Nice local restaurants, short walk from the small village/town.

GermanyThere is not much room for improvement. The heat pump for the neigbouring unit was sometimes noticeable (it is located on the terrace of this unit) however always anyway off at night, hence no big deal.
Resort Ravenna is extraordinary. The photos from Booking are real and no exxageration, it really looks as nice as on the photos. As the photos also show: It is really stylish.

The place was amazing, a lot of eye for detail. The rooms and facilities were perfect, the location was great. We were able to get everywhere in the town by foot, and easy to get to the Marina for visiting Amalfi and Capri. Francesco was an amazing host, always there for us and gave great tips about the area. Also the lunch at the pool was great!

New ZealandWhile we weren’t overly put out by it, the resort’s gym area (mainly the multi-gym machine) was either damaged or incorrectly setup. Otherwise everything was well cared for and maintained regularly.
The property, its facilities, grounds, location, and decor, are all perfect for a relaxing getaway. The layout and design of our room was practical and easily accessible, yet romantic, offering ample space, tasteful decor and a generous terrace. The pool, sheltered behind the main building, provides a beautiful focal point where guests can sunbathe or eat their breakfast - while there was no shortage of alcoves and nooks to find privacy.

EstoniaOur favourite place in Italy? Yes. Birds singing, a wonderful sea and a coast view, spacious and clean rooms, wonderful pool area - the list goes on and on. The town has everything you need and is maximum 5min walk from the resort. There are amazing restaurants and shops. Great choice, if you are looking for a sweet Italian small town vibe. I absolutely recommend staying in this area and especially in Ravenna resort. It is more convenient if you have a car, but we only used public transportation and managed very well. Also Francesco was a very good host and helped us with everything we needed (definitely don’t miss out on the pool area and their amazing bar with their own limoncello and limoncello spritz!).

IrelandThere was nothing I didn’t love - I wish I could live there!
This resort was absolutely beautiful! The balcony of our room had stunning views over Sant’Agata and the sea, the mountains, Vesuvius, and other towns in the distance. The property was impeccably well-maintained, and the pool/lounge area was beautiful and nice to hang out by on sunny days. Francesco was very kind and welcoming, and was available for any of our queries. As many of the villas on this property have their own amenities, it was a plus that areas did not become overcrowded or “too busy” with other guests, so it was incredibly peaceful! We got lunch (pasta with tomatoes and aubergines) on the property one day, and we were told the veg was picked from the property that morning for us - such a lovely touch! We had such a relaxing at this property which was well overdue for us both. The town of Sant’Agata was lovely itself- the locals were incredibly friendly, and amazing fun! There are regular buses to Sorrento from this town as well which was great. Thank you Francesco and your team for allowing us to have a more relaxing stay than we ever envisaged!

AustraliaAll good for us. For people with mobility issues, the walk up the hill from the Main Street might be challenging, but this is typical of most properties on the Amalfi coast
Tranquil and a short walk to the Main Street with good choice of bars and restaurants. I’m glad we stayed out of the madness of Sorrento. Sant’ Agata is a good refuge from the busy tourist cities and provides some much needed chill time after a long day along the coast.
