Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe advertised free breakfast is a croissant and coffee from a nearby restaurant. It did not start until 7:30. We were out of the hotel before that time on 3 of the 4 days we were there so that was not helpful.
Staff very friendly. The location was great with easy access to the subway and buses. We were on a pilgrimage and many churches on our list were so close

Uzbekistan✨ Exceeded all expectations! A wonderful place to stay. The service was outstanding, and special thanks to Emiliano for his care and attention. The rooms are very clean and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Soundproofing is also very good. The metro is just a few steps from the house, making it easy to reach both the train station and the main attractions of the city. We will definitely come back!

United StatesGreat location. Very close to metro and termini. Sara was very helpful and accommodating. Loved the wine and water. On a busy intersection so loud but the fenestration blocks out most of it, if you don’t have a problem sleeping without fresh air.

United StatesHowever , it was hard to find this residence at first because there was no sign in front of the building posted Residenze Serventi Longhi. We had to walk around whole block of the building , sent messages to the manager of this residence to find it . And the behind of near by building structure had construction going and many graffitis sprayed on the wall . It was a little scare passing there . Also It was pretty warm weather in July . We were sweating when we took a walk around the city of Rome . Next time we will come back in the Fall or spring .
We spent only one night here at this Residence. We were pleased with our stay . The owner were very well communicated with us before our arrival . He/She was quickly response and very helpful with his details information from how to reach their location by train , shuttles etc .. . The staffs were very sweet and courteous. The manager let us check in early so we could leave our luggages in the room . The room was cleaned well by a sweet cleaning lady. She also showed us how to get the bud tickets to go to the city Rome center that saved us to spend low cost transportation. They also added nice touch with many good amenities for your need to stay like two clean towels , two bottle of shampoo n body wash and disposable slipper each guest in our group of four were laid on each bed . The room was painted with bright cheerful color . The best is the view from our two balcony looking out the city and The Papal Archbasilica of St. John . It’s closed to many cafe, small restaurants right next to this residence . It’s easy to walk around and visit the landmarks near by. We wished we would stay more days to explore but we had to depart the next day to fly home after our cruise trip.

United StatesBusy area that produces a lot of noise in the early hours, and little noise insulation in the unit. No bath mat for the slippery shower, no change of towels during our 3 night stay.
Fantastic location near all modes of transportation. Updated facilities in a historic building. Nice benefits including welcome wine, daily bottle of water, Nespresso machine with great coffee, and a very responsive and pleasant host, Matteo.

United StatesIf I had to mention anything, it would be two very small things — nothing that took away from the overall experience, just things to be aware of. First, the main lighting in the room was a bit harsh and bright, the kind of white lighting that can feel a little like a convenience store. That said, there was a single soft light that made a big difference, and during the evening the natural light from the sky was more than enough if you’re going for a relaxed, romantic feel. Second, as with many hotels in Rome, you can hear people passing by the door. It didn’t feel disruptive, but it made me more conscious of my own volume, just to be courteous. It’s not unique to this hotel — just something I noticed across a few stays in the city. Both are incredibly minor, and honestly didn’t take away from how comfortable and thoughtfully put together the place was.
I stayed here while visiting Rome and appreciated the balance it offered. It’s right next to a subway stop, and tons of Lime bikes and scooters, so getting around was easy - especially to and from Roma Termini, but it’s also just outside the main tourist areas. That made it feel more local and relaxed, while still being close enough to reach the major sights without any hassle. The room looked out over an ancient Roman wall, which gave it both character and privacy, and I mean over, it was in view while giving me tremendous sky access since the wall is lower than the floor you’re on. I was able to keep the window open and take in the sounds of the city, which made the space feel even more connected to where I was. The hotel included thoughtful touches like cold bottled water refreshed daily, outlet splitters, multiple coffee pods, and a classic old-school elevator that felt like a movie set in Italy. It is the kind of place where someone had paid attention to the details. Things around are not inflated tourist pricing, just good local spots with quality meals.
