The room was great and having a small kitchen and fridge was awesome. Basilia was super sweet and helpful while getting settled.

The WiFi was very slow but we were there to relax so it was for the best. But if you’re expecting to watch videos you’re gonna be disappointed.

We were on holidays but it’s very horrible 100 steps and old apartment with no facility. Actually amalfi itself is not a good choice for holidays

All in all it was a great place to stay. The apartment has everything a couple would need, it was very clean and the bed was very nice. The view from the terrace was absolutely stunning! We preferred to have a dinner there just because of how amazing the view was. We loved it. I would highly recommend booking this place just for the view and the terrace.

There were very noisy neighbours with children making noice till 1am but perhaps this is part of the culture of southern Italy which was interesting to see. Also there was some problems with a smell of gas one of the nights.

The host is very helpful and lovely. She responded quickly to any issues we had and came over personally to assist, as she lives nearby. Her warmth and attentiveness really made us feel welcome

Very steep road and too many stairs to reach our room. The washing machine needs cleaning.

Our host Basilia was welcoming and friendly and assisted us when needed. Our apartment was old and dated but comfortable. The kitchen had the basics - no kettle but a small pot to boil water on the gas stove. The ‘coffee machine’ was an old stove top Bialetti. The bedroom and kitchen have old curved high vaunted ceilings which make the small apartment seem a little bigger than what it is and add to the ‘old world convent charm’ of the place. Bathroom is small but clean. Bed is vey hard but what we prefer. Lovely opening up the large bedroom windows in the morning to listen to the sounds of Amalfi. Could not find the rooftop garden and seating area shown in the photos. Long steep steps to reach the accommodation. Great if you’re fit and able.

Location was great, the host was wonderful, and the home itself was clean, spacey and had everything we needed for a few days of stay. The view from her garden was also amazing of the surrounding mountains and town of Amalfi.

The owner of the house, Mrs. Basilia, was very caring and friendly. We reached her whenever we wanted. She helped us in every way. We thank her again.

Our stay here was amazing. It is an ideal location to enjoy the Amalfi coast, not too far from the town of Amalfi (10 min walk max to seafront). We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful property. The host is lovely and so accommodating - allowed us to store our luggage due to our late transfer.

One thing I would say is that if you are planning to use the kitchen facilities to cook during your trip, these are fairly limited - no sharp knives for cutting meat/vegetables for example. Some steps are required to reach the property so beware if you have heavy luggage but this is the case for most properties along the Amalfi coast so definitely don't let this put you off of this beautiful property.

    The terrace was very pretty

The property was poorly equipped , no cleaning cloths , no cloths for drying dishes , beds were extremely hard , pull out bed was worse , only one pillow per person - asked for more but was refused - hot water very temperamental , queried this but was told it was nt an issue for previous guests with no resolution offered by host.

Property is great, tall ceilings made the rooms cool even in the heat of Italy. Amazing patio area to enjoy some drinks and play cards.

The many stairs after a very steep hill was exhausting after a day in the heat. Minimal house supplies provided such as limited cutlery and toilet paper
