The total sum of the building, room, service, breakfast and the very excellent restaurant was beyond our expectations. Very unique building and breakfast service was excellent with make to order dishes, your choice of coffee made by order. The restaurant held a very high class, very nice presentation, taste and flavors was high as well as the ingredients.

Beautiful and very unique hotel! Very nice staff, amazing breakfast. Hotel room clean and you can listen to the waves. We used the rooftop jacuzzi and got to enjoy a wonderful sunset with bubbles Nice food and wine for lunch, they gave us a very good dinner recommendation in the town near by

Incredible views, very special hotel and great breakfast! They don't have an official restaurant for the evening but when we stayed in we had a fantastic meal. Definitely recommend the jacuzzi on the roof with your partner. Amazing place to wake up in, did not want to leave! Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful too!

Our room has several shortcomings for full comfort and it is food for thought for the management - the mushy mattress caused us back pain, uncomfortable pillows. The room lacks a table next to the sofa where you could put down a drink or coffee. A coffee pot is certainly OK, but nowadays it is common to have a capsule coffee machine in the room. There was no milk or at least creamer available with the coffee. The room would certainly like to be equipped with a speaker system for music, the older smart TV did not offer such an option.

Watchtower from the 16th century right on the beach in the middle of the Tuscan coast. Generous space and the same view from the room of the sea and the beach, the sunset is unreal. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The hotel is exceptional in terms of atmosphere and staff, which is why it is certainly one of the best we have experienced in Italy.

I did not know that there was not a restaurant until I prepaid for the booking. I guess it explains why all the reviews raved about the breakfast, but not a restaurant. There is a sign that refers to a restaurant however. For some reason only cold food is an option.

The location and beach are fabulous. The facilities are lovely. Absolutely beautiful setting.

The hotel appears isolated from the ad pictures but is in fact surrounded by public beaches and exposed to everyday pedestrian traffic. Not noisy, not bothersome. Just don't expect a secluded area.

Our second time here was great as well. Again very relaxing, great food and nice staff. We tried the Santa Maria room with the whirlpool, beautiful view and private terrace. Such an amazing place with Italian genius loci. Cannot complain about anything and cannot wait till next time. In a restaurant the number of tables with seats corresponds to the number of rooms so you can always count on having lunch or dinner in here as a guest and not being stressed that it would be booked out. We can definitely recommend this unique relaxing place!

I studied history so staying at an old fort built to protect the crusaders and pilgrims to Rome was magical. The beach is beautiful , spectacular views, lots of great hitstoric cities nearby. The staff and rooms were exceptional and the breakfast delicious. I am grateful to have found this hotel.

No lunch or dinner. This really is an overpriced bed and breakfast NOT a hotel. Stairs very steep and uncarpeted, you fall you're getting stitches in your face. Pillows were very uncomfortable. Requested feather pillows for 2nd night. Eaten alive by bugs while sleeping even though screen was in place. Creepy tiny bugs in sink at night. Room is more "form over function"; pleasing to look at room (European styling) but a bit impractical; sitting area in room uncomfortable so you really have no comfortable place to sit and chill. No public sitting area. Annoying buzzer on electric door lock, bidet wobbled when you sat on it. Opted out of 3rd night and chose to stay elsewhere (even though non refundable). I paid extra NOT TO STAY a 3rd night

The location was excellent! Literally, right on the Ligurian Sea. Very safe property. Public beach adjacent to the North and South, Hotel boasts of private beach which is 3 foot by 10 foot (literally)
