Reviews of La Calla al Colosseo

I would like to start by saying that this apartment has the absolute best host Antonio, who is so welcoming and nice, and if I had some questions he always was within reach on whatsapp. In apartment is everything You need and You can truly feel like at home while travelling. The apartment also has outdoor terrace and fountain in the courtyard. Despite that the location is just 2 min from Colosseum, You can`t hear a thing, quiet and calm. As I mentioned above the Colesseum in in walking distance of 2 min, there is also metro there but city centre also is just 10-15min by foot. Location and everything was just amazing. Not if, but when we will revisit Rome again, this will definitely will be the only place to stay. Many thank to Antonio for this experience! :)

The property is literally steps from the Colosseum, and many sites were within walking distance! We absolutely loved Antonio, as he was friendly, responsive to any questions, we were given a lot of information before and during our stay, and he helped get us transportation to the airport when leaving. He was someone we would want as a friend! The space was comfortable, clean, and provided washing machine. We felt safe and the space was quiet despite being so close to everything. There is food nearby, grocery store, shopping, and overall fantastic!

Not to nit pick but I didn’t understand why there were so many silk or fake flowers everywhere. Less is more, I don’t think it needed all of these flowers.

Antonio was a wonderful host and made us feel at home. His warm hospitality made our trip to Rome even better. The accomodation itself was very spacious and had everything we needed. The best part is that it is right around the corner from the Colosseum, so we would see it in the morning before we started our day and at night when we were returning. Trains and buses are also close by to take you to different parts of the city. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Rome!

Very close to colosseum , clean and with all equipment that needed. Additionally the owner was very nice and helpful in every situation.

Perfect location and facility. Antonio and his wife were exceptional with communicating and meeting with us. We were allowed early access which was wonderful

The place is 2 minutes walk from the Colosseum, close to everything you need (metro, shops, restaurants, easy to get around). The host was super friendly, very supportive and helped us keeping our luggage after check out. The room was ready even before the check in time, was super clean and well equipped. All the necessary amenities also some extras like water or coffee capsules were highly appreciated! The access is from an interior patio where you can stay and enjoy a morning coffee or reading. Comfy bed and pillows, air conditioning - very useful Overall, we would return again there!

Location excellent, the colosseum is 20 yards away yet quiet little street, restaurants nearby supermarket nearby, Beautiful little courtyard to relax in , everything has been thought of, if you want to cook , everything you need is there, very thoughtful touches, many bathroom supplies down to cotton buds, and many kitchen goods, Antonio was available and helpful in organising airport transfer. Would highly recommend, metro within 2 min, spotlessly clean and loved our stay

The host, Antonio, is very friendly and helpful. We arrived in Rome quite early and had asked Antonio if we could drop our cases off but when we arrived he had made a lot of effort and was just finishing cleaning the property after his previous visitors. It was very clean and smelt lovely. The location of the property was excellent, in a street right across from the Colosseum and very convenient for restaurants and transport. The apartment is accessed from a small courtyard at the rear of the building and is very secure and quiet for its central location.

Great location with the Colosseum, restaurants and shops located in easy walking distance. Antonio was so friendly and always happy to help. Had everything you need for a comfortable base for exploring Rome.

The room is very cute. It was enough to clean and all the necessary materials. Antonio and his wife are very warmly hospitable. When we come to Rome again, it will be the first place we can think of.

It is an amazing studio right next to the Colosseum. Metro is 5 minutes walk away Main train station Termini is two metro stops away .There are nice cafes and restaurants nearby It is very clean , bed is very comfortable Very well equipped Little terrace is absolutely stunning Very quiet yet so centrally located Amazing value for money Antonio is an amazing host Very welcoming and helpful . Great communication.We were able to store our luggage after check out Would definitely come back Enjoyed the stay very much

Great location, so close to the Colosseum. The apartment was clean, comfortable and safe, and host Antonio could not have been more friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

This accommodation was in a great location just 100m from the Colosseum with great authentic local cafes/ristorantes within 50m. It is also very secure and quiet. It has everything you need for your stay. The owner Antonio is brilliant. We arrived earlier than expected but he was there to greet us and explain the access and how everything worked. I would give this 10 stars if I could. Also we booked a Colosseum tour with Crown Tours for which the meeting point just happened to be across the road.

Very nice experience :) Antonio is kind and helpful person, he waited for us in the apartament late at night ( we have problemu with transport form the airport) . The apartament is clean and the location just a few meters form Coloseum. :) Fully recommend

This was the perfect studio apartment for me to be able to explore the city at my own pace! Comfortable bed, good shower, very clean and ideal for solo travellers or couples. Loved the Roman cat pictures 😻 Antonio was so helpful, a fantastic host!

No negatives, the best stay I’ve had when travelling.

We spent around 5 days in Rome and we had a wonderful time. We loved our accomodation and felt just like home. It had everything you needed and had plenty of room for 2 adults and a child, very nice, cozy and comfortable. The location is very impressive. Very close to the Colosseum, and I mean very close.  Historical sites, restaurants, parks, cafes were close by ( 5-10 min) which made our stay very comfortable and easy. Antonio is a very friendly and warm host, he will make sure you have everything you need. He really made us feel welcome. We definitely will come back.

The host Antonio was very friendly & helpful. Checking in on us over the weekend. Amazing location, within minutes of the colosseum. Within walking distance of other main attractions. Property was well presented. Very clean & tidy with everything you could need. Despite being in a busy area (everywhere in Rome is busy) the property was quiet & provided a break from the outside hustle & bustle. Would highly recommend.

Coming home.

My partner and I visited for 3 nights with our 2 year old son, and this place was perfect! A stroll to the bottom of the street, and you were 5 minutes from the Colosseum. Plus some restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes walk. The apartment itself was spotless, homely, and really quiet, considering the area we were in. Antonio was the perfect host. He was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions or concerns we had. We couldn't believe how much of a bargain we had, the price was super reasonable and we would definitely recommend and would love to come back again.

Perfect little place for a couple, great location close to colosseum & metro. Many good restaurants nearby & an amazing pizza class across the street. We enjoyed the courtyard patio. Host very friendly & helpful
