Piatraluce is a true gem! We had an amazing stay during out Puglia trip. We basically used Piatraluce as a base to visit Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino and Ostuni. Make sure to arrange your trip to experience one sunset at this amazing Trulli house ❤️ Thank you Angelo for your hospitality.

This was such a wonderful stop over in our whirl wind trip around the boot. We even had to laugh at how narrow the road back to the building was. It is what memories are made of.

We did drive past the location twice as there was no signage and we were not totally sure if we were in the correct location. But again, it is the memory that will stick with us and if we are ever back we will try to stay here again.

Peaceful location, out of the way. Beautifully restored with care and detail. So very quaint - like a hobbit house. Slept well. Lovely.

Nothing!!!! , but it was hard to prep simple meals due to lack of resources. Eg no sharp knife, no chopping board, no tea towel nor grater.

The Trulli house was perfectly restored as when it was built with many modern amenities. The upgrades were very tastefully done and added to the decor and experience. The place was so peaceful so when we we’re tired from activities we could read or anything else. We did not come with friends or family but it would be a great place. Great outdoor areas for eating and playing board games. Angelo couldn’t be nicer.

We liked everything. Maybe the one rainy day.

Outstanding location. Really peaceful and superior design of the Trullo. It’s really a pity not having the time to spend more time there.

The location was great and strategic, just outside Alberobello and on our way to Locorotondo, making it a convenient stop. I wanted to experience staying in a Trulli house, and this was a good opportunity. The surroundings were lovely—quiet and peaceful, offering a nice escape from the hustle and bustle.

Directly from the highway, you need to enter a narrow local street or alley, which is not very obvious and convenient! Having a small car is the best option. Once at the property, there’s nothing and no one around. Also, there are no windows in the Trulli, which made it feel a bit gloomy, especially since the weather was bad and we had to stay inside.

Everything was as expected. Angelo is so sweet and help in any kind possible. He even gave us a lift to thw centre of AlberoBello and got us extra bread as requested. The room was very clean and unique features all round. The place is very quiet and piece full. Great location for family and friends as more attached Trullo s are available. It was an amazing experience we will deffenitly remember.

    Loved every single thing.

We loved our stay at the Trullo. The self catering property was an ideal location if you are travelling with a car. Easy short distances to so many small towns. The host was so warm and welcoming. The property actually has 3 accommodations under the one roofline. We did not hear the other guests and we all had our own outdoor table areas. There were eggs, olive oil, milk, coffee and a small cake for breakfast left. Anything extra you might want to bring with you.

We thought some outdoor shade would have been good. Maybe an umbrella. The days and evenings are hot and a lot of strong sun. It was so lovely to be outside but quite hot. I see that grape vines have been planted and will in time provide shade.

    ### Review We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful traditional house located in the countryside. The location is perfect for those seeking a secluded retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The privacy offered by this property is unparalleled, allowing us to fully enjoy the surrounding nature. The house, with its typical architecture, provided an authentic and cozy experience. Being surrounded by the tranquility of the natural environment was truly revitalizing. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene escape in a charming and private setting.

One aspect that could be improved is the bathroom. We would have appreciated a more comfortable shower, although we understand that having a traditional bathroom is part of the charm. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a bit more fruit available, especially considering we were surrounded by cherry orchards in the countryside. Overall, we really enjoyed everything.
