We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Czech RepublicFurniture was old and used, as expected. There was a mould in the shower and water temperature was changing every few seconds between hot and cold.
Breakfast was surprisingly quite nice. The pool looked great, but it's not included in the standard room price. We stayed just one night, so we didn't mind. Parking is free of charge.

FranceAir conditioning in our room was deficient. Had to be fixed twice while we were there. After paying through booking.com for a hotel with a swimming pool, we received an email on the eve of our arrival saying that swimming pool access was reserved for those who had booked suites or superior rooms. Fortunately, the receptionist waived that as soon as I raised the matter. The hotel is further from Tivoli and the main sights than it appears from the booking.com website. It’s a 25 minute zigzag uphill drive to the Villa d’Este and the town centre.
We’re not big breakfast eaters. But it met our modest needs. Hard boiled eggs and crackers. Tea and hot water. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There’s good parking.

Isle of ManEverything..beautiful hotel from the outside..reception lovely even had an air conditioning unit which worked.. 10 euro extr for the swimming pool!!The air conditioning did not work in our room 30c !!11.30 pm we were offered another room we moved but wasn't much better..everyone we spoke to said the same no air conditioning..
Miserable !!no idea how Germans in your advert said bfast was Fablehaft! tiny dried up bread rolls..lukewarm yogurt..cheese cut so thin ..very strange Ham??..if you wanted scrambled eggs 3 euros extra..lots of cake if you Iike that for bfast..Sunday was a disaster no bread rolls just cheap sliced bread no small spoons for the lukewarm yogurt when we asked we were given plastic ice cream spoons

DenmarkThis should not be a 4-star hotel. The hotel is old and the shower was moldy, no water pressure and temperature is changing itself suddenly all the time. Hair dryer is unuseable. No coffee, tea or even water-boiler in our rooms. The swimmingpool are not allowed to use. Too few parking spots.
Most of the staff was very friendly. Only a few was unfriendly.

South AfricaRoom smelled like smoke. When I booked I selected a room with a bath - instead I received a room with such a tiny shower ( must have been 500mm x 500mm). Toilet seat badly worn, required to cover it with toilet paper in order to use. I will mot recommend.

United StatesThe shower was not working, The staff was highly unpleasant. They had to change my room and the heater was no working in the other room. The hotel needs badly to be renovated... I didn't want to stay since there was either no heat or not water in either room! They didn't want to reimburse me and when I insisted, they called the police! Fortunately, the police told then that they were wrong and they ended up reimbursing me.

BrazilThe only problem is: if you want to go to Rome for example, you have to take a bus and a train and this will take around 1:30hr of your time. But it is a not problem if you rent a car.
I liked everything, the breakfast, the room, the environment. The staff were fantastic and very polite. The clean in the room is fantastic. The restaurant is amazing and they have a lot of options and you will not regret if you take one night to have dinner there.
