This B&B is in an amazing location, just on the outskirts of the old town and close to everything. Parking was very easy, on the street just behind the property. We were so grateful to Andrea for all of his exceptional cooking for breakfast - he made amazing food, all vegan and eco-friendly! The room was clean and as expected, and we really enjoyed our stay.

at least to be fair, the cleaning was okay.

the staff was unbelievable! they stricted us for coming to the house at a certain time - which if you are travelling you know there are lots of unpredictable things that might happen. secondly, I dont even know if they have the right for this but I was texted by a third party number. I dont think they have the right to share my number this way. i have been travelling since 8 years and never have I ever met anyone being so rude to their customers. for an accomodation that you are paying over 150 euros for, there is no way a client would ever deserve to be treated this way.

    Property response:

We are always committed to offering our guests a pleasant and respectful experience, and we do our best to be flexible whenever possible. Our check-in times are clearly stated, yet we are often happy to accommodate changes when communicated in advance. In this particular case, the arrival time was repeatedly changed, which made it difficult to organize the welcome, especially considering we are not a hotel with a 24-hour reception. We are a small, independently managed B&B and value mutual respect and clear communication. Unfortunately, during the stay, the guests accessed a private area of the property and helped themselves to food without informing us or settling the cost when asked. While this is a minor issue financially, it’s more a matter of principle and respect for shared spaces. Regarding guest contacts, our small team of two shares information only internally for operational purposes. At no point was any personal information misused or publicly shared. In our message addressing the state in which the room was left, we simply noted that the phone number used belonged to the second person managing the B&B. While we understand not every guest experience will be perfect, we believe mutual respect is key. We have reported this case to Booking and suggested the introduction of a guest review system, as already adopted by other platforms, which we believe would benefit all hosts.

The accommodation is very close to Lecce's old town and about a 15-minute walk from the train station. The center is just a few minutes away. I particularly appreciated the quietness of the accommodation itself. You couldn't hear any noise from outside either. The host, Andrea, is also very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and breakfast was provided every morning. I highly recommend this accommodation for a nice stay in Lecce.

The location is just outside the historical part but in 2 minutes you are there. So, everything was great for me. Thanks a lot!!

I liked the location and the interior with the high ceilings and drawn plants, the pastry every morning, advice on what to visit and the welcoming host

I wish there was a sink in the kitchen, but since my room was near by, I could use the sink there.

    Property response:

Thanks for your review. Pangea and Panthalassa is a classical B&B: there are two rooms and each one has a private bathrooms inside, that are equipped with sinks. It isn't an apartment to rent, so the kitchen is a private room, where I prepare breakfast for my guests. Its use is not allowed.

Andrea, the owner, was very welcoming and friendly. The room was large and clean, the bed was good and with the air conditioning gave me excellent sleep. The breakfast follows Andrea's vegan and Eco beliefs, wasn't really to my taste. The location is close to the centre, shops, restaurants and 15 minutes from the station. Overall lovely stay.

For me, the breakfast, but it was as advertised!

breakfast is the healthy option. The location is close to the main tourist area but not so close as to be noisy, the host is both thoughtful and helpful in all regards

Andrea has put in a lot of effort to create a comfortable, peaceful, and eco-conscious B&B. It was a true delight to stay there. He was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was a nice addition as well. Pangea e Panthálassa B&B was definitely the nicest place I stayed during my week-long trip in Puglia. I hope to come back in the future.

Good location just a short walk to the old town. Andrea was a very good host, responsive to any queries. Vegan/organic breakfasts were good and he even made us up a takeaway version for our early flight on the last day.

    Nothing to complain about

It was very clean and we liked supporting a business that was eco friendly. Our room was spacious, bed was comfortable, and it had air conditioning. It is right across the street from old town. The breakfast was awesome! Vegan pastries that were delicious and tasted homemade, fresh fruit, homemade granola, yogurt, coffee, juice, and tea. Host was nice and check in was smooth.

It was a bit loud from the street and other parts of the building but this factor is not in the hosts control

Pleasant clean, bright and comfortable ensuite room in a private Apartment where owner lived in another room.Host promoted organic and sustainable products including coffee.Light breakfast provided. Convenient location just outside old city walls for exploring the sights.Nearby shops and restaurants, including one next door which was handy.

Not very close to the Railway station and for those with mobility issues getting upstairs to flat with luggage might be an issue. For me not an issue.

Good host and well prepared breakfast. Room was clean. Close to the old town.

Bathroom can probably use an update. The shower head hose wasn't long enough to be placed in the overhead holder so I had to hold the shower head. This is probably a booking translation issue but the booking said "Free Parking" but it should be "Free PUBLIC parking available". I had to drive around for a bit to look for parking. The host did explain after I made the reservation and offer to cancel if I choose.

I had a pleasure of staying here for 3 nights and it was the most wonderful of experiences. The location is super convenient, within 5 minutes of the historical centre (15 minutes away from the train station and 15 minutes away from the bus terminal to get to Brindisi airport). The B&B is beautifully renovated and spotless clean. The room was incredibly spacious with high ceilings and great bathroom. It’s very quiet, the best night sleep! Andrea is an exceptional host, very friendly and accommodating, gave me all the information about the city. The vegan breakfast was an absolute treat! A different homemade pastry every morning, including the best pasticciotto I’ve had in Lecce. Would recommend it to anyone!
