We absolutely loved our stay. The hostess was incredibly attentive and provided excellent and diverse breakfasts each morning, including fresh coffee, fruits, charcuterie, pastries and granola/yoghurt. She also provided us with lots of brilliant restaurant and day trip recommendations. She really went above and beyond to make our holiday special. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean and the decor was modern, minimalist and stylish. The room has a lovely private roof terrace, which was perfect for sunbathing or evening drinks. The room is located just above a fruit and vegetable shop, which served cold alcohol at very cheap prices. A supermarket is a 2 minute walk away and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking was free immediately outside of the entrance to our room.

Very clean and brand new location, fairly big studio, nicely decorated, all needed amenities are provided. Great customizable local breakfast which is provided in the room every morning by Lucrezia, the host. She's also very welcoming and ready to help with any advice about the area, places to visit, where to eat locally, etc. Location is also very close to main attractions in Puglia, if you travel by car. Bonus points also for the fact that, being a very quite area, you find free parking places in front at the property at any time.

    Everything was perfect!

Thank you so much…we wish having you as guest again in our suites Best regards Palazzo Camerlengo’s staff

Palazzo Camerlengo and our host Lucrezia were simply outstanding. Upon arrival we were greeted with kindness that made us feel like family. Our suite was beautifully presented, with oversize bathroom, bath for two and a stairway to a breathtaking rooftop where we frequently enjoyed aperativos and treats from the local stores and the vast views of the ocean and the countryside. Lucrezia was incredibly helpful with useful information and making bookings for us to see and taste the real Puglia. We look forward to coming back for a longer stay.

The suite was beautifully decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The interior had such a calming and soothing vibe. If you're seeking a peaceful and laid-back stay for a night or two, where you don't mind driving to places for 10-20 minutes, this place could be perfect for you.

    - The breakfast at the place had only sweet options like pastries, fruits, and jams. I thought they would have some savory options like cheese, butter etc. by default. However, it was well-prepared and the owner, who had a newborn baby, was very kind and friendly. I didn't want to be impolite or create extra work for her, so I didn't refuse the breakfast. It would have been great if they had included some salty options for breakfast. - As a female solo traveler, I couldn't help but feel that this might not be the perfect location for me to stay. It gave me the impression of being in the middle of nowhere with not much to do around. Even the beach wasn't within walking distance, which added to the feeling of limited options for activities. I thought I could walk or take public transport, but it turned out to be a bit challenging. The train station was about a 15-minute walk away and walking along the side of the road with passing cars made me feel uncomfortable, and people stared at me strangely since there was no proper walk path. It might have felt better if I rented a car, as I could have gone to nearby places like Torre Canne Beach (5 mins), Fasano (15 mins) and Ostuni (20 mins) easily. - When I asked about the Airport Transfer details, I was informed that it costs 50€. However, later on, when I received the driver's details and headed to the airport, I was asked to pay 80€ instead. The driver was very nice and helpful during the pickup and drop-off, so the issue is not with him but with the property's communication. After reaching out to the property, I found out that there are actually two different transfers available. The one they shared with me was from an independent company, which explains the price difference. I wish they had clearly told me about the two options so I could decide and not be surprised later.
