Reviews of Amalfi Coast Ncopp' a' Scalinatella

The view from this place seems like taken out of a fairy tale. Words would not be able to describe the beauty of this place; it's a lovely place.

Although the view and location are really close to Amalfi, you have to take like a 20-30 walk of only stairs and it can be a problem for older people, if you have a good budget a bike or a car would be a better option but traffic is not the greatest when it's busy.

Eva is a great host, she came to meet us, helped us with parking and when we left she helped us down the hill. The accommodation is in the Scala-Pontone part of town, near the lemon trees. Fully equipped house, tumble dryer, washing machine, dishwasher. Equipped with cleaning products. The internet works perfectly, but there is no cell phone signal, so you can't call, but you can use the internet:-) Really comfortable beds:-) I also enjoyed the rooster wake-up call:-)

There are 102 steps leading up to the property, which is important information for those with sore feet. Otherwise it was perfect.

Parking was adventurous. Good fitness is required due to location

Good apartment, spacious, very clean, has everything you need for comfortable stay. Location is quite interesting, it's in the mountains on top of Amalfi. You have very beautiful view, unfortunately not from the apartment as it doesn't have any outdoor space. To enjoy the view you need to go to the street. To get to the apartment you have to climb the stairs which can be not for everyone. Also, you need a car to come to the town.

Location of property is little far from bus stand ,and as its hilly area,so have to walk or trek to reach bus stand.

Very friendly host. The apartment is clean, spacious and comfortable. There was everything we needed. I highly recommend this staying- for such a view from the windows it is worth climbing some stairs.

Muitas escadas. Mais de 100. A lot of ladders. More than 100. Definitely don’t book there if you have suitcases. Não vá com malas. Really difficult to find a parking spot. Muito difícil achar vaga para estacionar. Estressante. Stressful.

The apartman is very comfortable and very well equipped. The view is absolutely stunnig. There is a nice way to centre of Pontone.

Before you get to apartman you have to climb more than 50 steep stairs. Next to front door lives old deaf woman, sometimes she is very loud.

So many stairs but if you look at Amalfi coast,stairs are everywhere so taking them is also a part of the way of living which should be experienced.

One of the best places of our long trip, more than 7000 km. Great views, cool restaurant nearby, also with a perfect view. Very clean and cozy with all possible options. Very pleasant and comfortable communication

Beautiful house with all needed amenities. Amazing mountain views. Ideal for a romantic escape. Host always available. Definitely recommend and if returning to Amalfi I would stay here again.

Location is close to Amalfi but do not expect to climb home everyday. There are some buses but very unreliable as always very late but manageable. Earplugs recommended as a neighbour dog is cute but a barker!

Beautifully maintained property. The property personnel are attentive and maintain very good communication prior to gaining access and were available during the stay, should we have needed something.

The distance from Amalfi is further than we anticipated. There are many, many stairs to Amalfi, however we took a cab. The cab ride to town was extremely expensive. There are also many stairs to the property.
