    I can't fault anything!

The whole hotel experience was excellent. We stayed in a suite and The bed was extremely comfortable and room was clean. The girls at reception, Julia & Roberta, were very helpful and friendly at all times we passed through the door which was really nice. All staff in the hotel went above and beyond to make all guests feel valued. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection to choose from and was delicious. The location of the hotel was great, very central to all attractions.

Breakfast was very poor so don’t bother with it -just head out for a million other yummy things mere steps away! Rooms very simple but was large and had everything we needed!

Location was perfect. V close to termini and super close to all the sights. Everything within 20-30 mins walk. Amazing welcome and the friendliest reception staff. Great shout, large room. Also a charming surprise in our room for our honeymoon!

The room was quite small, however you aren't in it long enough to worry about. We couldn't get the air con to work, however the lovely staff helped with that.

Great location, friendly staff and a lovely breakfast

The soundproofing in the room is really poor. We could constantly hear people shouting, talking, and dragging furniture — it was quite difficult to get any rest.

The room is large and spacious, and the bed is very comfortable. There was also a very pleasant terrace. The bathroom is modern, but the shower cabin is quite small and narrow. All the staff are very kind, especially Giulia and Roberta. The location is very convenient — just a 20-minute walk to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and other major attractions. One day, there was unusually heavy rain in Rome and our room flooded. I imagine this isn’t a common issue at the hotel, and it was resolved quickly.

The water temperature in the shower kept cycling through hot and cold while using. No free drinking water in the room (but they have a jug of water downstairs).

Excellent location. Clean and well-maintained hotel. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Most of all the very nice staff who are always smiling and willing to help anytime. I felt very welcome.

The mattress is average but it's better than the other 3 hotels I've had in Italy, so it's pretty good I guess. Otherwise this is almost a 5 star hotel.

Perfect location. Good isolation. Large room, large shower. AC is super good and stays open when you leave. The breakfast is good and the staff are the nicest people I've ever dealt with. The lobby is super cool.

the room was so small however you have anythings you need. the elevator is small too. the breakfast is decent as the english breakfast but the room is small.

its very near to center of Rome and any old part you want to see. the bus stop is 2 min distance to walk to go the termini and the going to colosseum and other places. even by walking around the hotel you can see so my beautiful place and also walk to the train station. rooms are clean and there is tea pot with Ac and little balcony. my room balcony has no view unfortunately but comfortable. the staffs are helpful specially Victoria. she gave me a map of sightseeing and explain how i can see most place in just 2 days. breakfast was good for a small boutique hotel. its a good destination from airport and train. i booked airport bus to the termini and then a 2 stop bus to the hotel.

It was a little noisy with other guests in the hallway coming back late at night.

Very clean. Excellent staff. They were so helpful in making recommendations of what to see, providing me a breakfast package to-go since I had to leave before the breakfast hours, and in general were so pleasant.

I think it’s just the AC, it takes time for the room to cool. Nevertheless, everything is good.

Since newly renovated, it’s so clean, it’s really good to rest here after a long day of walking.

For a single room there was plenty of space, a comfortable bed, the shower was fab and the balcony was lovely! The staff were so kind and lovely. They have such warmth and care. Roberta was especially so sweet and a gorgeous person to deal with! The location is perfect. Close to the train station, buses and attractions (Colosseum/Trevi). I can’t wait to stay here again. The breakfast also had lots of choice. It was lovely to stay here after a busy time travelling around Europe.

I recently stayed at Hotel Maximus in Rome and had a wonderful experience. The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable, which made for a restful stay. Its location is excellent — not far from the city center and key attractions like the Fontana di Trevi, yet also conveniently close to Termini train station, making it easy to get around. The staff were extremely kind and helpful throughout our visit, which really enhanced our stay. Breakfast was good, offering a decent variety, though nothing particularly special. Overall, I would definitely recommend Hotel Maximus for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in Rome.
