Nany was extraordinary! Ashe went above and beyond helping us check in after midnight and left a bottle of wine for us too. The apartments were stunning and the views from the seaside balconies were sensational. Loved being in the old town and just sorry we couldn't stay longer.

This didn't worry us - but just something to be aware of; you are in the narrow alleys of the old town - people are walking right outside - like most European cities, and stays - if this bothers you - take some ear-plugs. That said it's an old building with VERY thick walls so I think the only reason we heard anything was because we were sleeping with the door to the balcony over-looking the ocean - wide-open - to enjoy the lovely sea-breeze

From the moment we booked - we received excellent, clear and personable communication from Nany. She also gave us heaps of handy suggestions and even arranged a restaurant booking for us. When we arrived, she met us at the carpark - a short walk away from the accomodation. The accommodation is more of a stand-alone room with bathroom (vs a hotel) - but it's location and the view are unbeatable. It's right on the cliff-front of the old-town. Very special spot.

Location and view was outstanding!! Comfortable bed and shower etc. Totally beautiful! Only issue is door to balcony was not working correctly to open up for sea view balcony. However we were mainly on the rooftop balcony so no stress. If you have mobility issues could be a real issue with stairs. In summary we totally love it and Nany was a fabulous host!

Our stay in this beautiful apartment in the heart of Polignano a Mare’s Old Town was simply perfect. The location is ideal—right in the charming historic center. The apartment exceeded all our expectations, especially the breathtaking view of the sea. The thoughtful décor created a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Nany, who took care of us during our stay, was incredibly kind and helpful. We will definitely book this apartment again

Mareluna is a true gem. I am so glad we booked here and I think has to be one of the best properties you can book in this area, and for such great value. The view is incredible and the property exceeded our expectations. Dining on the private upstairs terrace, watching the sea, the boats and the seabirds fly by is truly magical. Nany is divine and the most wonderful and helpful host.

Location was absolutely a bucket list spot. We had the most amazing view and the stay was very comfortable. Location was perfect as well in terms of walking distance to great bars and restaurants. Our host was lovely she came and walked us from the parking and answered all our questions.

The shower was too hot! Could adjust to make it cooler. I don't think it would be hard to fix but a bit annoying for our stay.

There was no breakfast offered. Good to stock up at supermarket if you're an early riser. The location was brilliant, right in the heart of the old town with outstanding views of the water.

A true gem, the best location and view in town. We feel truly lucky to have been able to stay here. The rooftop is an oasis with incredible views or you can enjoy views of the sea from the bed or even the shower. The street musician that played pleasant guitar on the plaza outside the unit added to the serenity while enjoying the rooftop terrace. The perfect place for a couple to enjoy, well worth the price. Book immediately. The best part was Nany, the local who knows the city well that managed our booking. She was a wealth of information and willingly and kindly helped us with everything we needed and even made reservations for us. It was like having a personal concierge for the entire trip. I can’t say enough about her and the place. Warning however there are some steep steps to the rooftop/bathroom for those with mobility concerns.

The noise. The door to the other apartment does not block out the noise at all when the other tenants come and go. And the front door is right on the street and it was very noisy well into the night.

The bathroom is up a bunch of steep stairs so if you get up a lot at night or have mobility issues think twice.

It might not be possible to stay in a more elegant and well situated place, for a lover of the sea. And the bed was very comfortable. Waking to the horizon, and then having breakfast on the terrace to the sea and town? And there’s a fantastic view from the shower too! Nany the proprietaria was very kind, communicative, and gave a good orientation to the town.

The only thing I didn’t like was the mattress, which wasn’t very comfortable. Also, to get to the bathroom, you had to go up a staircase each time—it was quite narrow with steep steps.

Fantastic stay. The room is in an excellent location—just a few minutes’ walk from the center. It's laid out over three levels. You enter and go up one floor, where you'll find the bedroom and the kitchen in a separate space. On the top floor, there's the bathroom and a terrace with two sun loungers and a unique view. From the room's window and the terrace, you can see the endless blue of the sea and the famous cliff where the well-known Grotta Palazzese restaurant is located.

Having to leave

This must be the best location in Polignano al Mare! When Nany opened the bedroom shutter to reveal the view, my breath was taken away. It is literally on the cliffs and you can look down at the clear water below. I never grew tired to looking at the view and could have happily spent my whole stay there. The apartment is extremely clean and very comfortable. It's been restored and furnished with care and thought. The terrace is stunning and has the most amazing views. Nany is the perfect host. She met us at the parking lot and took us to the apartment, where she explained everything. She also gave us great recommendations for restaurants etc. Will definitely be back!
