Not much to fault other than the curtains in our bedroom. When closing the curtain, only one half helped with the light but the other curtain was see through and did nothing to hide the light in the early mornings. Other than that, it was a great stay and would go again.

Luis was very welcoming as soon as we entered the doors. He was very helpful with tips and advice on where to go around Sorrento and what to do throughout our stay. He made us feel like at home and was available for whatever we needed. The location is also fantastic with an amazing view and so close to the centre, only a 5mins walk. It is also close to the train and bus station which is useful if you want to go away from Sorrento and go to Positano which was 40mins away by Coach or Capri only 20 mins by Ferry. Definitely reccomend!!

We had a great stay at Luxe sur Mer. Luis was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of tips and recommendations. The room was lovely and clean and all the facilities worked well. The location was also perfect as it was a few minutes walk to the station and 10 mins walk to the centre of sorrento. We would recommend this place to stay.

Our stay in Sorrento was one of those pleasant surprises that life offers us. From the moment we arrived, our host, Luigi, was always very friendly and helpful. He welcomed us politely and always in a good mood. The hotel was new and super clean. When we left during the day and returned at night, everything was always very organized. On our last day, he left us a gift from Sorrento and a handwritten letter thanking us for choosing his hotel. We will definitely return to Sorrento and will stay here again. We left Sorrento with a new friend. Thank you, Luigi.

The property is very clean and located in the centre of Sorrento. Our host Luiss was amazing - he was super friendly and made sure we had a comfortable stay. The room was made everyday and we came back to sweet gifts like toffees, lemon cakes, juice, Prosecco etc. Luiss also gave us a cute ceramic gift at the end. The property is value for money and everything is walking distance from here. The breakfast is included and you get it at the bar downstairs where the staff is very polite. Luiss also gave us the best food and commute recommendations and that added so much to our experience. He is an 11/10 host and we would definitely recommend this property to anyone planning to visit Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.

Our stay at Luxe Ser Mer was amazing. We booked a room with a sea view, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The room looked exactly like the photos and was cleaned every day. Although the apartment is located on a main road, it was very quiet with the doors closed, and we had a great night’s sleep every night. Luiss was a fantastic host - when we arrived, he welcomed us with drinks and some delicious lemon cake. He was very attentive and happy to answer any questions we had. The location is perfect, just a short 5 minute walk into town. Thank you, Luiss and Luxe Ser Mer, for an unforgettable stay - we will definitely be coming back!

The only not-so-great part of the experience was the noise. The room is not soundproof, so we hear a lot of noise from the street and the hallways if the other guests are too loud 😅

Everything! Luigi was the best host ever. All his care and suggestions made our stay in Sorrento truly unforgettable. The room view was breathtaking, it was spacious and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast was in a café just beneath the apartment with great food.

Everything was wonderful. The room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. It was really conveniently located close to the train station and the local bus services to Naples and Pompeii, Amalfi and Positano, and a very short walk to the main centre of beautiful Sorrento. We loved having breakfast alongside the locals at the cafe downstairs and the staff there were lovely. The whole experience was topped off by the service and attentions of Luigi who was a wonderful host and could not have been more helpful.

The property is within a block of residential flats so didn’t really have the feel of a hotel or b&b. While the cafe on the street was very friendly the breakfast was not very inspiring and we had to pay for our second tea/ coffee. Perhaps that could have been included.

The room exceeded our expectations—honestly, the pictures don’t do it justice! It was spacious, super clean, and had a big, soft bed that made for a great night’s sleep. All the essentials were provided, including towels, shampoo, and more—and Luiss even changed our towels the next day, which was a lovely touch. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning, overlooking the seaside. The location is also perfect—just a 5-minute walk to the train station and no more than 10 minutes to the port of Sorrento, making it super convenient for exploring the Amalfi Coast. Luiss was an exceptional host. He shared helpful local guides and great tips, which made our stay even better. We absolutely loved staying at his place and would highly recommend it!

Luiss is an amazing host! He went above and beyond for us from before we arrived to the moment we checked out. He treated us like family and made us feel so welcomed in Sorrento. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and every aspect of this trip was spectacular. From the room with the amazing view to the recommendations that were provided to us for food and things to do around town. We were greeted with a smile, fresh lemon cake and delicious lemon soda when we arrived. The rooms are kept very clean and the location is fantastic. There is an awesome cafe downstairs that provides your coffee and breakfast every morning along with other foods, drinks, and delicious Gelato if you wish. You will not be disappointed booking here. Luiss is the best and he made our stay one for the books! We will definitely be back in the future!
