Davide was the best host we could have hoped for. He welcomed us warmly, gave us the best tips for exploring Rome, and we felt right at home thanks to him. As soon as he opened the doors of his LOFT29, we realized he had put his heart into it; everything was beautifully arranged and impeccably clean. We also fell in love with Prati, the neighborhood where the apartment is located; it's truly worth staying here. Davide truly cares about every detail; we feel blessed to have met him. Thank you, Davide!

Still speechless after my experience staying at Davide's apartment! Definitely the most beautiful apartment I have ever booked on Booking.com and cleaning was also immaculate👌! Davide is the warmest most welcoming host you could ever meet. Extremely responsive, nothing is too much trouble. The location is perfect, minutes from a metro station and close to the Vatican! Overall an unforgettable experience, I would unquestionably stay at Loft29 in Rome when I visit Rome again. This place is a 10/10! Every single detail is catered for, well worth the money- I didn't want to leave!

Location close to Metro and to supermarket. Good quality apartment. Enjoyed the ability to cook. Host was friendly and provided good suggestions for dining, etc. Close to Vatican Museums and to Vatican City.

The apartment met our expectations. Would have been convenient to have a dryer for clothes. We had an overall good experience. It was nice to be able to wash clothes but with a dryer would have been a little better.

Everything was perfect! Davide, the host, is very friendly and caring, he made sure all our needs were met and made us feel truly special throughout our stay by sharing local tips and checking in to make sure we were comfortable. The apartment itself is a work of art — spacious, beautifully designed. It was perfect for the three of us. We were lucky to celebrate the New Year at Loft29, it was an incredible experience as we were surrounded by fireworks and the view from the balcony was purely magical. The location of the apartment is excellent, it is just a minute away from a metro station and the neighborhood is very good. We would be more than happy to return to Loft29 when we’re in Rome again!

From the day I booked Loft29, it was a great experience to have Davide host us. Pre-arrival, he messaged information, and tips and was clear with instructions. On arrival, he showed us how things worked and ensured we were comfortable. The apartment is beautifully designed, with modern amenities and functional yet aesthetic fittings. On rainy days, we managed to wash our wet things and heat up soup or pop some items into the oven for a quick meal - godsend! It's also near small neighbourhood shops, a few cafes, a 24-hour Carrefour across the building, and good restaurants nearby! I even managed to get a manicure during my stay at one of the nearby salons! We love that it was near the Metro and easy for most taxis to find. The best part is that it is quite close to Vatican City, and on a clear day, you can see the top of the Basilica.

Do note that the apartment is in an older building and it has its quirks - a very retro-looking lift as well as heating and electricity within the apartment which must meet city regulations. Besides that, it was a good place to stay for almost a week!

Davide is an utterly charming host who is keen to ensure your stay is the best it can be. He offers tips and recommendations and is always available to answer any questions and help in any way he can. Photos of the apartment are accurate. It was very close to the metro station that enables you to get into the centre of Rome easily. We didn't cook, but it was nice that there were spices, coffee pods, olive oil, lemon, vinegar available, the Prosecco was very welcome too! Davide is passionate about Rome and I now know why, and I look forward to returning to this wonderful city.

What we didn't like didn't relate to the property or host. The metro was closed for some of the time for maintenance and workers were on strike at other times. Trams were not operational and most fountains were closed due to maintenance in preparation for next year's jubilee.

We stayed at loft 29 for 3 days, and both Davies and his mother were very enthusiastic and provided us with a lot of help. The apartment is very close to the Vatican Museums, about a 10 minute walk away. To reach St. Peter's Church and Square, it will be a bit far as you need to walk around the city walls. It is recommended to take a taxi to get there. On my first day there, I wasn't very used to elevators. It was my first time taking an elevator that required manual door closing, and I got used to it in the following days. I used to book hotels for my travels, but this is my first time trying homestays. On the first day, I felt a bit uncomfortable, but on the second and third days, I found homestays to be good and more comfortable compared to hotels. The Italian seafood restaurant recommended by Davies on Saladin Island is very delicious. In addition, we found a Japanese restaurant nearby. In fact, the owner is Chinese. This restaurant also has Chinese fried dishes, which is very suitable for Chinese people to eat. It tastes good and the price is affordable.

The elevator is a little bit old and cramped.

I had an amazing stay at Davide’s apartment in Rome for 2 nights. From the moment we arrived, Davide made us feel incredibly welcome with his warm hospitality. He really goes the extra mile to ensure his guests have a wonderful experience, and the thoughtful touch of a bottle of Prosecco as a welcome surprise was a delightful gesture that added to the special feel of the stay. The apartment itself is in fantastic condition—clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the location couldn’t have been better. Just a 2-minute walk from the metro station, it made getting around the city incredibly convenient. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Davide’s place! It’s the perfect mix of comfort, great location, and exceptional hospitality. Would definitely stay again!

Nothing to complain about, all perfect

While this place is everything it claims to be, what makes it a highly recommended place to stay is the host. Davide is kind, very communicative, and is really passionate about delivering an experience during your stay. He is readily available and cares about adding value to your time in Rome. His recommendations were a huge help and made life a lot easier. Although not necessary, I really appreciated the gift and morning coffee we had in a cafe across the street. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Rome.

I managed just fine but I imagine someone taller than 6' may find the restroom a bit too cozy. However, Davide did explain that he plans on making changes to the restroom in the next year.

A truly unique stay! 🤩 My only regret is that it was too short due to a work trip. However, Davide was incredibly helpful from the start, providing great tips to make the most of the neighborhood and shortcuts to iconic spots, whether by public transport or on foot, even with my limited time. The apartment Loft29 is exceptionally well-furnished, tidy, and clean, centrally located with excellent connections. 🤩 I look forward to staying here again for a longer period to fully appreciate all of Davide’s recommendations. Thanks again for everything, and I highly recommend this place Loft29 to anyone looking to stay in the heart of the city!

This architectural gem, lovingly crafted by a third-generation architect, is hands down the best place my wife and I have ever stayed, and we've stayed in plenty across the world. The open layout and natural light make it feel super spacious and chill, perfect for couples. And talk about location! It's a stone's throw from the main tube station and has a 24-hour Carrefour supermarket across the road. Convenience level: 💯. But let's talk about the owner, Davide. Super responsive and clearly passionate about his place. He even put a family heirloom in the apartment, which shows how much this property actually means to him. You won't find another rental with this much personality, class and charm. Trust me, this place is a total find, you'll be lucky to stay here in Rome!

    Nothing.
