Everything. Owners attitude was bad, we felt unsafe and the room was poor. We were assured that getting in late would be no problem, I messaged to clarify our arrival time and we were sent codes to get through the gate. However. the huge main door was locked and we had no way to get inside. We had wait on a v rough street after midnight for 20 mins with kids and suitcases. Eventually, a disgruntled neighbour let us in after we rang all the different buzzers outside. She said it happens often that people buzz her, locked out from Lin mare and she was not happy. The owner didn’t reply to any of my messages until the next morning so if we hadn’t chanced on the neighbour, we’d have been locked out all night, and then she implied that it was fine and we shouldn’t be unhappy because we didn’t even get robbed! After that she tried to cancel our stay so we couldn’t write a review, until booking.com reversed it! Beware. This was a v poor service and room. 100% do not recommend!

    Property response:

Madam, first of all, let me respond to your comment. You confirmed to us that you arrived at 23:30, but you sent me the first message via WhatsApp at 00:11 in the middle of the night, instead of calling me to open the door for you. I wrote all the check-in information clearly, and if you don't reply to the message, please call me, but you didn't call. Secondly, you said you waited outside for 20 minutes, but the video we saw showed that you entered the house at 00:08.00, which means that I didn't hear you coming downstairs to send a message, so you rang someone else's doorbell to come in, you didn't think it was midnight, you didn't call me, you just rang someone else's doorbell randomly. This is your own thinking problem, don't blame others. Thirdly, you didn't pay the city tax in Rome and ran away early the next morning. What kind of person are you? How did I do it? God sees everything you do.

Very central to get in and out of Rome, walking distance to Roma Termini station, a lot of places around to get food. Also a walking distance to the Colosseum (if you don’t mind 22mins in the morning or late evenings). Very friendly and helpful staff.

Quite costly for a shared property. It’s only a bedroom which comes en-suite, but shared kitchen area. Also important information such as a daily tax of €7 per person per day wasn’t provided in the important information or property policy as such can come as a shock to be asked to pay extra after check in.

    Very clean Secure

Towel rack installed upside down, so it was starting to fall off the wall. The shower is extremely small for larger people. Outlets were worn, so adapters would not stay connected. Bed was OK, but could use a mattress topper for added comfort. Staff English was extremely limited.

The accommodation is conveniently located near both the bus and train stations, making it a practical choice for first-time visitors to Rome due to its easy access to public transportation. The host was very helpful, and the property offered thoughtful amenities such as complimentary snacks, coffee, and water. The kitchen was fully equipped, providing added convenience for guests

However, the surrounding area may not align with everyone's preferences, as it has a high presence of transient activity and can feel less secure at night.

The room was very cozy and quiet, with everything i needed. The bed realy comfortable with a small desk for me to write. Very nice decorated and very clean!!! There was a shared kitchen were i could make coffee and prepare lunch. Although my reservation did not include breakfast, they had croissants, crackers and coffee, which was great. Very quiet neighborhood and with a metro station nearby and bus stations also.
