How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The location is perfect — close to everything, yet peaceful and cozy. The room was clean and comfortable. A special thank you to Alessia🙏 She was incredibly kind, talkative, and always ready to help with recommendations. Her homemade traditional breakfast was a highlight of each morning — delicious and full of local flavors. Felt like we are at home.

It was pretty good, I have nothing to complain about.
Excellent B&B, very welcoming and competent guest. English (and Italian) speaker. Very friendly Alessia, you can count on her excellent knowledge of town and neighborhood. We really enjoyed our staying. Very close to downtown Lecce, 5 min walking.

Nothing, everything was perfect.
The B&B is really close to the centro storico, about 10 minutes walk, that is perfect. It is really modern and has everything you need! The parking space is in an courtyard, so your car is safe. Our host was Alessia and she was the best! She recommended us all the good spots and everyday served us a great breakfast!

Everything was great👍
The location is great for walking everywhere. Alessia, our host was excellent : extremely helpful with information before our arrival and during our stay. Lovely room and we really enjoyed our stay.

Just one thing. Im not sure if that is the policy, but they didnt clean the room and didnt change the towels. Maybe because it was in the weekend…
The host was charming, accommodating, and helpful with everything.

Oswaldo makes a huge incredible breakfast for his guests. He is so friendly and so kind and so helpful. I unfortunately ended up in the hospital having emergency appendix Surgery. Oswaldo was so amazing.

Osvaldo was one of the most kindest person I’ve ever met. Very thoughtful, professional and generous. Everything I needed was there and nicely prepared. Breakfast was served by the owner including a toast of gluten-free bread 😀 and the best cappuccino. Quality is his top priority and everything done by ❤️

The property is close to the city center with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets , and shopping stores just minutes by walk. The place is also clean, tidy, and for an B&B it really felt like you were in a hotel. The host is very friendly, attentive, organized and highly professional and provides an excellent service that I would recommend to anyone visiting Lecce

The BnB was in a rather tired old building on a side street. But once you entered the BnB from within the hallway, everything was excellent.
Excellent location- only a few minutes walk to the old town. Osvaldo was amazing!! Great personality and willing to help answer all our questions. Instructions via WhatsApp on entry procedures was great. The breakfast first rate- perhaps the best we’ve had at a BnB. We had a nail in our car tire and he gave us the address of a repair shop in the neighborhood who repaired the tire while we waited as a favor to him. His advice on what to do and how was perfect!

Balcony did not have view.
The location was excellent: in the new town, around the corner from shops but walking distance to old city. The bed was comfortable, shower very nice. Osvaldo was helpful with breakfast ( free availability of coffee all the time), with tips and very pleasany.

The host Oswaldo were very nice and polite to us. The accommodations is decent for a couple stay but the hospitality of Oswaldo was the best. He was very helpful provided us some guidance on where to go and main attractions, also Helped us with some restaurants recommendations and local app guidance. He prepared an excellent breakfast and coffe. The location is just a few minutes from the old tow, breakfast served at the balcony and has all necessary facilities for our stay.

parking was challenging but in all fairness, it was a Saturday night when we arrived. Our host was super helpful with suggesting parking.
