excellent breakfast, excellent host, excellent location

What a gem! We had a wonderful stay in this delightful place. Our room was very large and comfortable with windows over the street and a great large bathroom. Breakfast, prepared by Antonio was superb, far and away the best we had in Puglia. Antonio could not have been more helpful and friendly, making our stay as perfect as possible and with great suggestions both for Lucera and our onward travels.

Very occasionally one stays in a place which combines curtesy, culture and a true sense of hospitality. We were delighted and will return.

A very special place to stay. A genuine historic Palazzo, beautifully furnished, carefully looked after. Great location right in the middle of Lucera, which is a really lovely town. Extremely helpful host. Access to kitchen and lovely places to relax, both indoors and outside. Hope to return.

Lovely room and building, very friendly host and delicious breakfast. Our kids loved walking across the path of the roof from our terrace. The town is beautiful and it was a great find. Grazie Antonio.

Stunningly beautiful home / B&B in the middle of Lucere’s historic center.

Loved the property itself, the antiques, the courtyard garden, the attention to detail and care from the host, the towels, the amazing breakfast which we were able to have in the garden, the location and the fact that we were able to get parking right around the corner from the front door. We were fortunate to spend some time chatting with our host, who is very interesting, and gave us some fabulous information on Lucera, the sights and restaurants. We also very much appreciated the lift to the train station the morning we were leaving Lucera. Staying at Le Foglie Di Acanto was one of the highlights of our 4-week trip to Italy.

Honestly nothing could have been better except for the torrential downpour and thunderstorm on day two, which I'm pretty sure wasn't within our host's control :). Our stay was amazing.

With the antique furniture, tile floors, and frescoed ceilings it was like staying in a palace! The bathroom alone was the size of most hotel rooms.

Had to hurry to get the key in the door of the apt because the automatic hall lights shut off very quickly.

Firstly, the host was cordial, and helpful . The accommodation was fantastic, styleful with a lot of character. Beautiful spacious bedroom and fantastic breakfasts. We felt like kings!
